How to raise jasmine? What do you need to pay attention to in the process of breeding?

Jasmine aroma known as "the world's first fragrance" laudatory name, it has rose sweet, plum blossom as Qingfang and orchid as remote, simple and natural, can be called potted flowers Jiapin, deeply loved by people. How do jasmine flowers grow? What do you need to pay attention to during farming?

Selection of pot soil and method of pot loading

Jasmine potted culture soil should have rich organic matter, and have good water retention, water permeability and ventilation performance, can be used to mix 4 parts of rotting leaf soil, 3 parts of garden soil, 2 parts of river sand, 1 part of cake fertilizer or livestock manure to prepare culture soil, or 5 parts of rotting leaf soil, 4 parts of sandy loam, 1 part of cake fertilizer, and put bone powder at the bottom of the pot as base fertilizer.

The first pot should be planted in March and April before the new shoots germinate. After the basin is placed in a slightly shady place to avoid blind sunlight, sufficient light should be given after returning to normal cow growth.

Potted jasmine should be replaced once every 1~2 years and replaced with new culture soil. When changing pots, generally do not go to the roots, but should be watered thoroughly, put shade to restore growth, and pay attention to loose soil.

watering method

Proper watering is the key to the growth of potted jasmine. Too much watering, leaves will suddenly turn yellow; pot soil long-term too wet, resulting in poor soil ventilation, resulting in rotten roots, leaves turn yellow and fall off, resulting in plant death.

If too much watering causes rotten roots, the flowerpot can be moved to a cool place, and stop fertilizing, control watering, and often loosen the soil, so that the pot soil is well ventilated and the plant sprouts new roots.

Watering should be determined according to season and temperature

Spring 4~5 months began to shoot long leaves, water consumption is not large, can be 2~3 days irrigation once, around noon is appropriate; June is the spring flower period, watering can be a little more, should be 1 day irrigation once;

Summer July ~ August is the high temperature period, also is jasmine full bloom, need early, late water once, at the same time spray water on the leaves 1~2 times a day, and spray water around the flowerpot, in order to increase air humidity;

Gradually reduce the amount of watering in autumn, watering once every 1~2 days from September to October;

In winter, the amount of watering should be strictly controlled, and the pot soil should be kept slightly moist. Generally, 5~7 days should be watered once. If the pot soil humidity is too large, the roots are easy to blacken and rot, and the leaves turn yellow and fall off.

When found that the leaves have just yellowed, pay attention to stop watering, dry for a few days, and then gradually water properly to restore normal growth.

Jasmine likes slightly acidic soil, such as alkaline soil, leaves will yellow. During the growth period, 0.2% ferrous sulfate water should be poured once every 10~15 days to keep the pot soil acidic.

fertilizing method

Jasmine flowering long, need fertilizer more, so pot soil fertility should be sufficient. To master the principle of thin fertilizer and frequent application, especially in the flower bud formation period can not be short of fertilizer. But fertilization too much, too thick, easy to cause rotten roots.

Fertilization time in the evening is good, before application should be loose pot soil, pay attention not to pot soil too dry or too wet when fertilization, pot soil half moisture when the best effect.

Jasmine like acid soil, available "alum fertilizer" for topdressing. From spring germination to late September, decomposed thin cake fertilizer water should be applied once every 7~10 days, with a concentration of 15%~20%.

During the period of budding and flowering, thin fertilizer should be applied frequently, about once every 5~7 days, with a concentration of 10%~15%. When applying fertilizer, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be added, 0.1%~0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate or 0.5% calcium superphosphate solution can be added to cake fertilizer solution to promote flower bud differentiation;

If long-term nitrogen fertilizer too much, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer small foot, easy to make the plant formation of excessive growth, affecting flower bud formation, resulting in no flowering or flowering very little.

Fertilization should be stopped from October to improve the maturity of branches and facilitate winter.
