It is cultivated once a year, usually sown from late April to mid-May, and most of them mature in September.

It was sown from late March to early April and matured in the first and middle of July. Multi-row triple cropping rotation cultivation was carried out for wheat, spring soybean, late rice or autumn crop rotation.

Spring soybeans are also cultivated in Guangdong, Guangxi and southern Fujian. They are sown in February and March, and mature at the end of June and the beginning of July.
