The first generation of old contact fermentation bed pig raising is mixed, generally do not dare to use, there are a lot of problems; the second generation is non-contact fermentation bed, it is more stable, the source of cushion material is more extensive, and the cost of cushion material is lower accordingly; the third generation fermentation bed technology is an independent fermentation bed, which is very good, flexible and flexible, and can achieve complete zero emission and is very easy.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using fermentation bed to raise ecological pig fermentation bed (contact, non-contact and independent)?

⒈ contact fermentation bed

This is the initial fermentation bed, the initial form of fermentation bed technology that appeared at the beginning of this technology, it should be said to have been eliminated, its disadvantage is that diseases occur frequently and can not be controlled, especially pigs, pigs strongly recommend not to use contact fermentation bed, there are too many problems.

The first is that pigs have the habit of fixed-point excretion, which can not change this habit of pigs, resulting in a dead bed in the place of centralized excretion, unable to decompose feces, high concentration of water, etc., although pigs have the habit of arch padding, it is not enough to make up for this shortcoming.

The second is the frequent occurrence of parasitic diseases, especially nematodes, once encountered cement feces can be judged as nematode infection, can be treated with fenbendazole, albendazole, but it is difficult to prevent and control.

The third is the mutual transmission of diseases, germs, viruses, etc., which are difficult to control.

Fourth, the choice of cushion material has limitations, can only use inert raw materials, thick and thin matching, strong water absorption, to have a certain stiffness and not easy to step on.

The fifth is that bedding materials are prone to mold and cause mycotoxin poisoning.

At present, the contact fermentation bed is only used for chickens, because chickens are used to raking bedding, and chickens are dispersed excretion, so it is better to raise broilers with fermentation beds, there are still people in use, and the success rate is relatively high.

⒉ non-contact fermentation bed

This is developed on the basis of the contact fermentation bed and is developed by absorbing the lessons and shortcomings of the contact fermentation bed. Obviously, it has several advantages to solve the shortcomings of the contact fermentation bed.

First, the automatic mechanical rake system can be used directly, which can uniformly decompose the excrement of pigs and other animals evenly. Because the rake system is separated from animals, it is easy to operate and will not affect pigs. Because it is separated from the rake, noise has little impact and will not cause animal stress.

Second: because there is no contact, there will be no parasites to infect each other or bacteria and viruses to infect each other, but this problem still exists, for example, through aerosols through the air, but at least it is much better.

Third: the choice of bedding materials is much wider, some are not inert raw materials such as corn straw, edible mushroom bran, and other plant scraps, crop scraps can be used, not afraid of mildew and deterioration, because they have no contact with animals.

Fourth: it is much more labor-saving and labor-saving in operation, and the mechanical operation can be realized, and after the service life of the cushion material, the discharge is much more convenient.

⒊ independent fermentation bed

This is the latest generation of fermentation bed treatment technology developed on the basis of non-contact fermentation bed.

It has even been used by a large number of large companies, but at present, it is also recommended to be used in pig farms with less than 1000 pigs. 1000 pig farms produce about 10 tons of manure per day. According to our experience, the amount of manure accounts for 5% of the volume of the cushion / daily treatment capacity, it needs 200m3 of padding, and if it is 75cm thick, it only needs a greenhouse with an area of 300m2. The independent fermentation bed has many advantages, it overcomes all the shortcomings of the above two fermentation bed methods, and the shortcomings of infection of germs, viruses and mycotoxins through air are also overcome, and can work centrally. the problem that needs to be solved is that the rake machine should be suitable for deep ploughing, that is, when the bedding material thickness reaches 75 cm, to be able to dig deep to the bottom, the original rake machine is easy to derail, that is, in the process of rake. Padding will push up the rake machine and lift the shaft, resulting in flying cars and other phenomena, but the use of fixed tracks can solve this problem, and some farmers can also solve this problem by pressing big stones on top of the rake machine.

Therefore, with the upgrading of fermentation bed technology, the advantages of fermentation bed pig farming compared with traditional pig breeding methods are becoming more and more obvious.
