Local environmental protection departments should complete the investigation on the implementation of the environmental assessment system for livestock and poultry breeding projects by the end of June 2017, and investigate and deal with projects with existing problems in accordance with the law.

In accordance with the unified arrangements and requirements for investment issued by the Agricultural economy Department of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Development Planning Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, the relevant matters for the construction project of animal husbandry standardized large-scale breeding farms (residential areas) in 2017 are as follows:

(3) the content of construction. The central investment focuses on manure treatment and utilization facilities in breeding farms (residential areas), as well as the construction of forage bases, epidemic prevention, quality and safety, and the transformation of production facilities.

(4) declaration procedures. For voluntary applications of qualified farms, ten copies of the application, other certification materials and project construction implementation plan (10 copies) will be submitted to the Animal Husbandry Unit of the County Animal Husbandry Bureau before December 19, 2016 by the township animal husbandry station.
