Nowadays, with the improvement of people's living standards, farmers' free-range native chickens are very popular. However, many chicken farms do not have the conditions for native chicken farming, and most of them are caged chickens, so how can caged chickens have local chicken flavor?

In production practice, there are three methods to make caged chickens have the flavor of native chicken.

1. Feed caged chickens with green fodder, rotten leaves, insects or gravel.

The rotten leaf soil on the surface of woodland can be dried and screened and mixed with rotten leaves and green fodder to form chicken feed, of which rotten leaves account for 70% 80%, green fodder 10% 20%, and rotten leaf soil 5% 10%. The meat quality and taste of chickens fed in this way are similar to those of farm chickens.

2. Fish meal is the animal protein feed for caged chickens, but feeding fish meal for a long time will make the chicken smell fishy. Adding 2% garlic powder to the feed can make the chicken flavor stronger and purer.

3. Add "fat chicken powder" to the feed of fattening chickens.

The formula of "fat chicken powder" is: cinnamon powder 50%, dried ginger powder 20%, licorice powder 9%, fennel powder 7%, cooked soybean powder 6%, ferrous sulfate 8%. It can not only enhance the appetite of chickens, but also greatly improve the quality of chicken meat.

Of course, we need to be honest in doing business. We can make caged chickens taste more like native chickens, but we can't just sell caged chickens as native chickens. We also need to explain clearly to customers and safeguard consumers' right to know.
