How old is the pet pig? How long does it live? How much is it usually? How do you raise it? Why is the school not allowed to support it?

How old can you grow up?

Pigs that can be kept as pets are generally small, such as Dutch pigs, fragrant pigs, Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, Huliani pigs (painted piglets), African pygmy or Guinean pigs, Osaba pigs, and so on. These pigs will grow up, generally four months old will be basically stereotyped, usually 5 months to mature. Due to the use of genetic control technology, its weight will not exceed 5 kilograms.

It is worth noting that those who want to raise pet pigs should be very careful. There are many fake pet pigs on the market. If they are not careful, they will become pigs when they are raised. If they are raised more and more, they will have a lot of fun.

How long does it live?

The average life expectancy of pigs is 20 years, while that of pet pigs is about 10 years. Pet pigs are omnivores, do not eat much, and like to eat some fruits and vegetables, such as watermelons, tomatoes and so on. If the master takes care of it carefully, it will not be a problem to live for 10 years.

People always think that pigs are stupid, and they take it for granted that pet pigs are also stupid. This is a misunderstanding. In fact, a pig is a very smart animal, and so is a pet pig. As long as you train it, it is very easy for it to learn a fixed location.

Pet pig price:

It is understood that most of the common prices are in the range of 300 yuan to 600 yuan, but this statement is not 100% accurate, because the transactions in the market are diversified, and there may be a price gap between buying in this store and buying in that store. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone go directly to the relevant pet store to ask how much a pet pig is in order to get a more accurate answer.

In addition, as mentioned earlier, it is possible for some impure pet pigs to become fat pigs, so when choosing and purchasing, we should not judge whether a pet pig is a real mini pig by how much it costs, but should do more homework and know more about mini pigs, so we will have a higher chance of buying real purebred pet pigs.

Although price can sometimes help us screen out some unreliable choices, this factor is by no means the only criterion for judgment. if you want to avoid being deceived, you should not only look at the price, but also measure it in many aspects. and businesses generally from all aspects to how much a pet pig price.

How to raise:

1. Living conditions are very important

The pet pig needs to live in a quiet and dry environment with a temperature of 18-29 degrees Celsius. You can let it live in the study, living room or balcony. Pet pigs are afraid of the cold. Remember to make a warm nest for them when winter comes, add some blankets or quilts, and don't let them catch cold or have diarrhea.

2. Diet

4-week-old piglets can be fed with full-fat milk powder, about 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk powder per meal into 100c.c. Milk, and can add 1 tablespoon cream or 1 raw egg yolk to increase nutrition. Many pig sellers say that piglets are not the same as human milk, and their nutrients are different from pig milk, but many pig friends feed milk to pigs and no adverse reactions are found, so you can rest assured that your pet pigs can eat.

Four weeks later, piglets can be fed with dried whole milk powder, about 2 tablespoons of milk powder per meal, and reduce the amount of liquid milk. This action is called "teaching trough". The purpose is to train the gastrointestinal digestion of solid food.

After 6 weeks, you can feed piglets a small amount of solid food or soak in water, and you can also start to try fruits, vegetables and other foods. When feeding piglets with new food, piglets may have nutritional dysentery problems. once owners find that piglets have incomplete and sparse stools, please send them to the hospital as soon as possible.

Piglets can fully eat solid food after one month, because pigs are omnivorous animals, so the food must contain vegetables, fruits and active proteins, such as chicken, beef, cucumbers, and so on, in order to achieve balanced nutrition and enable piglets to grow healthily.

3. You don't need to take a bath often

Pigs are very clean, and they don't need to take a bath unless they go outside to play dirty. On weekdays, you only need to use the bathtub to drain water and wipe the pig's mouth and nose with a towel. If you bathe the pig too often, it will cause dry and itchy skin, rash and other problems.

4. Take good care of piglets to prevent them from getting lost.

It's not easy to gain the trust of Piglet, which is a precious trust that you can't get from any other pet. So cherish it!

Matters needing attention in culture:

1. The pet pig has a total growth period of 3 years, but it stops growing in about a year and a half (depending on diet) and can generally be maintained at 20-35 jin. Although it has these weights, because the meat of the pig is more solid and round, it will not look so big and will look much smaller than dogs of the same weight.

2. If you are not ready to raise pigs, including the space and time for raising pet pigs. And I'm not sure if I can really like it, please don't raise it easily. There is a good saying: your world has friends, relatives, work and entertainment. And its world, only you.
