Last Updated: 2024/11/05, When it comes to black rabbit ears, do many friends think of moon rabbit ears? In fact, they are not a plant, but brothers. Before there are a lot of friends asked me: black rabbit ears can be cut? Is there any special requirement for black rabbit ears to be divided? I'm here today to give you an answer.

1. Cutting

In fact, this breeding method is very simple. Pick the branches that are strong and full, cut them with tools, and insert them into the prepared sand.

The sand should be watered in advance and placed in a cool place until it is slightly moist before use. After the cuttage is finished, put it in a ventilated and cool place for about 20 days, and it will take root. During this period, do not over-hydration, if the environment is not too dry, then just spray some water to the sand surface, if excessive watering is easy to make the wound fester.

2. Ramet

This method can be done together when changing pots for plants. First of all, dig up the whole plant with a small shovel and take it out with the flowers and soil at the root. When digging, be careful not to hurt its roots, because once the roots are damaged, the new plant will grow slowly if it is light, but it will not grow at all if it is heavy. After that, gently remove part of the soil by hand, and select the sub-plants with good growth, full meat and strong plant type to be replanted.

But just planted do not immediately water, about 3 days after watering, be careful not to let the soil produce stagnant water, because at this time it has not fully taken the basin, if there is stagnant water, it is easy to send it to the road of no return. At the same time, do not put it directly in the sun, especially in the stronger sun at noon, so as not to stimulate it too much and affect its normal growth.

These are the two reproduction methods of black rabbit ears, both of which are very simple and easy. Novice friends can also use them to try their skills.
