In the past two years, chicken glandular gastritis has become one of the most common diseases endangering poultry production, which has brought serious economic losses to many farmers. So what is chicken glandular gastritis? What caused it? How to treat it?

What is chicken glandular gastritis?

Chicken adenomyogastritis is a disease characterized by glandular stomach enlargement, mucosal ulcer, exfoliation, myogastric cracking and erosion. At present, the disease is on the rise in the broiler industry, occasionally seen in laying hens, and now native chickens are also beginning to develop the disease.

Chicken glandular gastritis can occur in different breeds of laying hens, broilers and native chickens, especially in chicks. At present, the characteristics of the disease in broilers are as follows: the frequency of the disease is gradually increasing, the incidence tends to be younger, and the clinical symptoms are more obvious, but the swelling and ulcer of the glandular stomach become atypical, while the lesions such as myogastric ulcers become more and more serious. such as concurrent or secondary other diseases, the death caused by other diseases is getting higher and higher; the incidence area is expanding, and the disease can be seen all over the country.

Symptoms:

1. Low feed intake, slow growth, poor population uniformity, feed indigestion and defecation.

2. Chickens with mild symptoms are often apt to panic, hoop and run crazy.

3. Severe chickens are characterized by lethargy, weak legs, paralysis, loose feathers, shrunken eyes, thin body, dysentery, gray-white or yellowish-green feces.

Second, what cause is chicken glandular muscle gastritis?

1. Virus

Arc intestinal strand virus, reticuloendotheliosis, infectious anemia virus and so on.

2. Bacteria

Helicobacter pylori, Clostridium welchii, staphylococci, a variety of molds and their toxins.

3. Other

Mildew of feed raw materials, stress caused by changing materials, water quality problems, abuse of the so-called "veterinary drug" products, etc.

Specifically:

The main results are as follows: (1) High feeding density and extensive management.

(2) few times of daily feeding, the feed is stored in the trough for too long, or every time the new material is added, the trough is not cleaned, and the new material is poured directly on the leftovers.

Third, how to prevent and treat chicken glandular muscle gastritis?

1. Preventive measures of glandular gastritis in chickens.

(1) in the aspect of feeding and management, feeding and drinking water should be fed and added as little as possible, and the leftovers should be cleared out and new materials should be added every time.

(2) do not feed moldy and deteriorated feed and raw materials, and control them strictly.

2. Treatment of glandular gastritis in chickens.

(1) treatment of congenital glandular gastritis

For congenital glandular gastritis, it is difficult to control through management, because chicks are formed when they come out of the shell, so they have to be controlled by medication.

► antivirus

With drug control, we must pay attention to anti-virus, such as biological agents, transfer factors, interferon, etc., to control adenoviruses.

► to control mold

At this time, the mold in the feed is more likely to grow in the muscle and stomach, so we also need to pay attention to the prevention and control of mildew in the feed. This provides time for the repair of gold in the chicken.

► in the treatment of glandular gastritis

For myogastritis, traditional Chinese medicine must be used to remove saprophytic muscles, invigorate the spleen and remove dampness, strengthen the stomach and eliminate food.

(2) treatment of acquired glandular gastritis.

► increases the resistance of chickens to mold and mycotoxins:

The first is to strengthen the stomach, so that the rapid development of gold in the chicken, this is very critical. Chicken muscle stomach stratum corneum is very hard, the main function is to grind food, coupled with glandular stomach secreted enzymes, mixed digestion to facilitate intestinal absorption. At present, the feed is nutritious and easy to digest, and the function of peristalsis and grinding of muscle and stomach is gradually degraded. From the second day or the third day, the chicken will add corn osmosis, 100 jin and 2 jin, which has little effect on the nutrition group. However, it can make the chicken's muscle and stomach get a good exercise, so as to improve the chicken's resistance to gold in the chicken. This is the key raw meal to strengthen the stomach.

► feeding method:

The feeding method is mainly added a little frequently to reduce the residence time of the feed in the high temperature and humidity environment of the chicken house, so as to reduce the effect of mycotoxin. Try to avoid adding ingredients once and eating for three days.

► drug prophylaxis:

Mainly related to the timing and appropriate time of medication, according to my more than 10 years of clinical experience, the effect is the best on the tenth day, because in the first 7 days, the gold in the chicken has not formed an obvious ulcer, the medication is wasted, and it is easy to relapse after 20 days.
