Tibetan Xiang pig, also celebrity ginseng pig and fern hemp pig, is a common kind of Xiang pig in Yunnan Shangri-La, Sichuan Aba, Xizang, Gansu and other places. It is deeply loved by people because of its relatively expensive and mellow meat. At present, breeding is also being carried out in many areas. how much is the market price of Tibetan Xiang pig? How do you raise it?

First, how much is the market price of Tibetan Xiang Pig per jin?

Tibetan Xiang pig is the only grazing pig breed in China, growing in the plateau with an altitude of 3000m to 4000m above sea level, with natural wild edible plants and fruits as the staple food. the average weight of adult pigs is less than 50kg, and the market price is usually about 100 yuan per catty. According to the calculation, there are only Tibetan Xiang pig breeds, and the price of pig breeds varies from 1500 to 2000.

Second, how can Tibetan Xiang pigs be raised to produce high yields?

1. Construction of pig farms

Pig farms should be built in areas far away from people, high and dry, leeward and sunny, and well drained. The functional division of the producing area is clear. Finally, the size of the pig house should be determined according to the feeding scale, the height of the house should be more than 2.5 meters, and there should be suitable windows before and after the pig house to ensure daylighting and ventilation. The feeding density can be appropriately reduced in summer and increased in winter. The height of the pigsty fence is 0.81m, and food troughs and drinking water devices should be installed in the pen. The cement floor of the pig house should have a certain slope, a sewage drain should be set up outside the pig house, and an open-air fence can be set up outside the pig house.

2. Feeding density

Xiang pigs are small, and the feeding density can be higher than that of other pig breeds. About 10 piglets can be raised in a 10-square-meter shed, and 5 pigs can be raised in a 10-square-meter shed. Excessive density will aggravate food grab and struggle, affect feeding, activity and sleep, and waste feeding space if the density is too small. In addition, Xiang pigs have an early sexual maturity and should be prepared to be grouped according to sex in advance.

3. Feeding method

The piglets were fed with regular and quantitative feeding method, 3-4 meals per day, and fed in the morning, middle and evening. The piglets were fed about 0.2 kg of excipients and 1 kg of green fodder. Sows feed 0.4 kg daily, green feed about 2 kg. In places with favorable conditions, when the weather is fine, pigs can be released outdoors after early feeding, preferably in the mountains, so that they can feed on their own. Xiang pigs raised under the forest are not only physically strong and cost-effective, but also of better quality. The specific foods that can be fed are as follows:

(1) Bran feed: bran feed includes rice bran, wheat bran, sweet potato rattan bran, peanut rattan bran, broad bean leaf bran, soybean straw bran, etc., and the amount of pig is 10-15% of the total feed, no more than 20% at most.

(2) meal feed: meal feed mainly includes rapeseed cake, peanut cake, cottonseed cake, soybean cake, sesame cake and so on. The proportion of cake feed for pigs is 10-25% of the total feed. Soybean cake and peanut cake are nutritious and can be matched with 25%. Rapeseed cake and cottonseed cake should be less than 10%. Rapeseed cakes and cottonseed cakes should be detoxified first, and other cakes only need to be boiled or fried and fed. It is not suitable to add cake meal to piglet feed.

(3) Grain feed: grain feed includes corn, barley, wheat, sorghum, broad bean, pea and so on. The amount of pig consumption is 50% of the total feed, no more than 60% at most.

(4) Green feed: green feed includes aquatic duckweed, water hyacinth, water hyacinth, water peanut and crop leaves, vines, alfalfa, vetch and so on. This kind of feed is green, juicy, nutritious and easy to digest, accounting for 40% of the total feed.

(5) dregs feed: dregs feed includes distiller's grains, bran dregs, vinegar dregs, powder dregs, bean dregs, bagasse and so on. The amount of pig used is 5-10% of the total feed. Pregnant sows and fattening sows should not be fed with distiller's grains. All kinds of dregs must be cooked before feeding.

The above is the introduction of the market price and breeding technology of Tibetan Xiang Pig. I hope it will be helpful to everyone!
