Last Updated: 2024/09/16, When it comes to base shrimp, I think everyone knows that it not only grows fast, but also has strong adaptability. Therefore, many people breed it. If you want to have high yield of base shrimp, you must master the basic breeding conditions and methods. What are the breeding methods of base shrimp? How to get shrimp

When it comes to Kei Wai shrimp, we must all know that it not only grows fast, but also has strong adaptability, so many people breed it. If we want to produce high yield, we must master the basic conditions and methods of culture. What are the cultivation methods of Kei Wai shrimp? How do I get to the shrimp line?

1. Introduction of Kei Wai Shrimp:

1. What kind of shrimp is Kei Wai shrimp?

Jiwei shrimp is seawater shrimp, which looks like prawn in shape, but it is not as big as prawn, but its shell is relatively soft, and its meat is delicious and delicious, which is very popular with people. Generally, the young shrimp is dark green or dark green, and the adult shrimp is light brown, so you must pay attention to it so as not to buy white shrimp.

2. Where do the prawns come from?

There are many producing areas of Kewei shrimp, which are distributed at home and abroad, among which foreign shrimp originated from Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan. China is mainly distributed in the coastal waters south of Shandong Peninsula.

Second, what are the methods of shrimp culture in Kei Wai?

1. Site selection

Ji Wai shrimp like to grow in areas such as mud bottom, sand bottom and sand bottom, so when selecting a site, you can build a pond about 1.5 to 2 meters high, put silt around the bottom of 10cm, and dig a ditch with a width of 4 meters and a depth of 0.5 meters, to facilitate later drainage.

2. Clean the pond

Before placing Kei Wai shrimp, thoroughly disinfect the pond with quicklime or bleach to prevent the growth of shrimp from being affected by bacterial growth. Generally speaking, if the silt is thicker, it should be exposed to the sun about a month in advance. The silt is not very thick. After emptying the water, it can be exposed to water for 2-3 days.

3. Fertilization in pond

The prawns are mixed in food, but mainly feed on plankton, so a small amount of organic or inorganic fertilizer should be applied to ensure the biological bait needed in the process of shrimp growth.

4. Release seedlings

The prawns like to grow at a water temperature of about 18-30 degrees, so it is best to release the seedlings in mid-May. Before releasing the seedlings, it is best to keep the seedlings in light salt water for a week, and then transferred to the pond to improve the survival rate of shrimp seedlings.

5. Culture management

After the shrimp seedlings enter the pond, the basic management work such as water quality, feed feeding, disease prevention and control should be done well. The specific management skills are as follows:

(1) Water quality requirements: when shrimp fry are stocked for about 10 days, 10cm water should be added every 5 days, and the pH value should be adjusted to 7: 8 in order to improve the water quality. generally, the water color should be yellowish green. At the same time, a small amount of quicklime or bleach should be used for disinfection and sterilization to prevent the occurrence of diseases.

(2) Feed feeding: shrimp seedlings mainly eat plankton one month before entering the pond, and when the water temperature reaches 24-30 degrees, the food intake of Ji Wai shrimp will gradually increase. At this time, artificial feed should be fed timely according to the growth situation. And with some miscellaneous fish, freshwater shellfish and so on, in order to ensure sufficient food, so that shrimp seedlings grow rapidly. Generally, feeding is divided into 2 to 5 times a day, and the amount of feeding at night accounts for 60% of the daily dose, so as to ensure that the food is adequate and not wasted.

(3) strengthen management: during the growth period, Kei Wai shrimp should check the growth of shrimp seedlings at any time, and check the pond regularly, so as to avoid anoxia floating head.

(4) Disease control: diseases such as rotten eye disease, Gill rot disease and brown spot disease will occur during the growth of prawns, so control measures must be taken during the culture period. General rotten eye disease or Gill rot disease can be sprinkled with bleach in the whole pool or fed with shrimp health No. 1, and brown spot can be prevented and treated with formalin.

6. Fishing harvest

When the prawns grow for about 70 days and reach 7~10cm, they can be harvested in turn, and when harvested, they should be divided into batches as far as possible, so as not to reduce the income due to too small specifications.

Third, how to get to the shrimp line?

Method 1, toothpick to remove shrimp line: toothpick to remove shrimp line is one of the most common and fastest ways in life, the specific method is to find the middle position between the penultimate section of shrimp body and the penultimate section, then insert toothpick to pick it up, then take out all the shrimp line with your hands and cut it off, you can take out the shrimp line thoroughly.

Method 2, peel off the shrimp thread alive: this method is very simple, but it is relatively bloody, so this method can be used in the case of no toothpick. The specific method is to pinch the shrimp neck, and then pull the head and the shrimp line out together, and then the shrimp line can be removed.

Generally speaking, Kei Wai shrimp is well cultured, and it can grow healthily as long as the basic management work such as water quality and feed feeding is well managed. In addition, if you want to remove the shrimp line completely, you can use toothpick or peel it alive to successfully remove the shrimp line.
