Field snail, also known as snail tuo, looks like a snail. It is widely cultivated because of its rich nutrition, low breeding cost and high profit. But if you want to raise field snail well, you need to understand various culture techniques. What does field snail eat to grow fast? Why is it fast and clean?

First, the field snail introduction:

1. Where does the snail live?

Snails like to grow in the water environment where the sediment is rich in humus, such as paddy fields, lakes, ditches, ponds and marshes, and the most common place is where the current flows.

2. What are the species of field snails?

Chinese round field snail, long spiral round field snail, bloated belly round field snail, Wusuli field snail and so on.

Second, what does the snail eat to grow fast?

Field snails are divided into wild and farmed snails, and the specific foods they eat are as follows:

1. Wild snails: mainly eat moss, phytoplankton, young aquatic plants, underwater small animals, plant debris and microorganisms and humus in underwater soil, of course, artificial feed can also be fed, such as vegetable leaves, rice bran, soybean powder and so on.

2. Artificial culture: mainly eat vegetable leaves, fruits, fish viscera, rice bran, vegetable cake, bean cake, fish meal, fish miscellaneous, duckweed, various animal scraps, artificial feed and so on. When feeding, large grains of food such as green vegetables and fish offal can be chopped and then fed. For harder feed, soak in water and then feed.

Third, how to wash the snail quickly and cleanly?

The snail contains a lot of sand and impurities, so when you buy it, you must soak it in salt water for an hour or two, and then wash it with water before eating. The specific cleaning methods are as follows:

Method 1. First, scrub the snail repeatedly in water, then clean it one by one with a toothbrush, and finally remove the tail of the snail, let the sediment flow out, and then rinse repeatedly with clean water until all the impurities are washed clean. Of course, after removing the tail of the snail, you can also soak it in salt water for a while, so that the snail can spit out the impurities inside.

Method 2. First, scrub the snail repeatedly in water, then brush it clean one by one with a toothbrush, finally remove the tail of the snail, let the sediment flow out, and finally put a few drops of sesame oil in the basin for 30 minutes, let all the sand and bugs out of the snail, and finally rinse it with clean water for two or three times.

Method 3, put the snail in clear water for three or four days, let it slowly spit out the impurities in the body, and then soak it with boiling water, you can kill the impurities and bugs that have not yet been discharged from the body. It is worth noting that during the placement, be sure to change the water once a day, so that the impurities will be removed.

Generally speaking, the snail's food is very simple, as long as it is fed with some vegetable leaves, rice bran, bean cake and so on. In addition, cleaning the snail is a very troublesome thing, so you can clean it according to the above three methods, but I think it is better to wash it with sesame oil, which can not only expel the impurities in the body, but also draw out the worms inside, and you can feel more at ease when eating.
