Tuyuan, also known as hillbilly, bubble bug, bedbug mother and so on, is a kind of valuable traditional Chinese medicine with high medicinal value. in recent years, large-scale artificial culture has been gradually developed due to the shortage of market. So, what breeding techniques does Tuyuan have? Let's get to know it together.

1. Site construction

Tuyuan likes to live in dark, moist, humus-rich loose soil, so it is necessary to make full preparation for the soil when raising it. First of all, choose garden soil or sandy loam rich in humus, loose and fertile. Add appropriate amount of chicken manure, pig manure or plant ash to it and place it in the sun to make it. Because the soil element is afraid of light, it is generally daytime and night out, and the suitable growth temperature is 28-30 degrees. Below 0 degrees or higher than 38 degrees will cause the death of soil yuan, pot culture, cabinet culture, box culture can, pay attention to the culture temperature on the line.

2. Larval management

When raising the larvae, it is very important to keep the humidity of the breeding soil at about 40% and the temperature at about 25-30 degrees. After a month, the larvae can break their shells, and the larvae and the mother worms need to be raised separately during the incubator and the larval feeding period. because the mother worm often eats the larvae and eggs, when the larvae are young, they are fed mainly by intensive feeding, and the feed is scattered evenly on the feeding soil. Then turn it into the soil layer of 2-3cm to prevent the larvae from escaping.

3. Feeding and management

Tu Yuan is omnivorous, plant feed includes wheat bran, rice bran, fruits and vegetables, etc., and animals have earthworms, crickets and so on. Tu Yuan has strict requirements on temperature and humidity. The suitable growth temperature is 25-30 degrees, below 8 degrees goes into hibernation, 10 degrees begins to eat, less than 0 degrees will freeze to death, higher than 38 degrees will die of heatstroke, so in summer breeding, because the weather is hotter, adequate drinking water should be supplied. Often spray water into the breeding areas, maintain soil moisture, lower soil temperature, keep dry in winter, feed semi-dry and wet materials, and use straw to keep warm at low temperatures. Spring humidity between 70% and 80% can make it grow rapidly.

4. Diseases, insect pests and natural enemies

When raising, Tuyuan will suffer from a variety of diseases and insect pests and natural enemies, the main diseases are belly disease and fungal infection, the prevention and control method of belly disease is to adjust the dry humidity of feed and feeding soil, and the moisture should not exceed 10%. The method for the prevention and control of fungal infections is to change the breeding soil, disinfect and sterilize in time, and then use 0.25 grams of tetracycline to grind and feed. The pests of Tuyuan include mites, ants, mice, cats, snakes and so on. When breeding, we should pay attention to the defense and blockade of the breeding site, not to take advantage of other pests. For small pests such as ants and mites, tung oil and stickiness can be smeared on the pond wall. Mites are controlled with chemicals.

The above is the Tuyuan culture technology summarized by the editor for you. I hope it can help all the farmers.
