Last Updated: 2024/11/05, It is understood that many lobster farmers want to carry out the rice field shrimp culture model in 2019, because it is said that this can improve the utilization rate of farmland and increase income. Indeed, raising shrimp in rice fields can increase the productivity of rice fields, increase rice production and lobster production, and promote farmers.

It is understood that many lobster farmers want to carry out the rice field shrimp culture model in 2019, because it is said that this can improve the utilization rate of farmland and increase income. It is true that raising shrimp in rice fields can improve the productivity of rice fields, increase rice production and lobster production, and increase farmers' income, but there are also technical requirements. Next, I will give you a detailed introduction of rice and shrimp culture techniques.

First, choose the rice shrimp culture model that suits you.

At present, rice and shrimp culture mainly includes two models-rice-shrimp symbiosis model and rice-shrimp continuous cropping model. Therefore, it is necessary to choose according to their own planting actual situation and needs.

1. Symbiosis model of rice and shrimp.

In order to cultivate rice and shrimp, we can adopt the mode of stocking young shrimp in two seasons a year, and release shrimp seedlings from April to August and from August to April of the following year.

2. Rice-shrimp continuous cropping model.

After the middle rice and late rice are harvested from September to October, the rice fields will not be idle until April-June of the second year. Use the free time of 7-8 months of the year to raise crayfish.

II. Treatment of planting and breeding paddy fields

1. Digging trenches

Due to the use of rice fields for crayfish reproduction, hatching, seedling cultivation and healthy breeding, it is necessary to dig trenches, which are generally excavated into return ditches (smaller area) and field-shaped ditches (larger area). The width of the ditch is 3-6m, the water depth is 1.5-2.0m, and the shallowest is not less than 1m.

2. Escape prevention

The soil dug out by trenching can be used to reinforce, heighten and widen the ridge of the field, and the drainage outlet of the paddy field and the ridge of the field should be protected against escape nets.

3. Water inlet and outlet settings

The rice field shrimp culture needs to set up a special inlet and drain, which can be located at both ends of the rice field, and the water intake channel can be built on the ridge at one end of the rice field. The water inlet can be installed with a net bag to filter the water, so as to prevent enemy organisms from entering with the water flow.

4. Disinfection

The specific method refers to draining the ditch water one month before stocking shrimp fry and sprinkling it with raw lime slurry on the water surface about 10 days before stocking.

III. Management of shrimp culture in rice fields

1. Release of shrimp fry

The shrimp fry of the first season can be released from April to May and the shrimp fry of the second season can be released from July to August. The culture density is referred to 300kg/hm2.

2. Crayfish feeding

In addition to "recommend and snail", crayfish also need to be fed with artificial feed. In the shrimp seedling stage, it is mainly based on basic feed (mainly including insects, Cladocera, copepods and aquatic insect larvae, and artificial feed is mainly powdered feed. Such as green bran, wheat bran, bean cake and so on. ), and feed a small amount of artificial feed at the same time.

In addition, some aquatic plants such as bitter grass, verticillium verticillata, hyacinth, water floating lotus and water peanut can be planted in the ditch.

3. Rice field management

When applying pesticides to rice, we should choose pesticides with high efficiency and low toxicity as far as possible, and it is best to choose bio-pesticide preparations. Apply biological fertilizer and mature organic fertilizer as much as possible in paddy fields.

Generally speaking, the yield of shrimp raised in paddy fields is about 650kg per mu, the output of crayfish is about 240kg, and the net profit can reach about 3500 yuan. The prospect is considerable, but it does require more manpower and material resources.
