II. Selection of farmed woodland

Luchuan pig is more suitable for farming under the forest. In the selection of woodland, the best woodland should be selected according to the natural weather conditions of the breeding area. In general, natural woodland can be selected as a breeding site, or those woodlands with lush broad-leaved trees, which often have natural water sources and adequate food.

After selecting the woodland, the area around the breeding site should be investigated and the pollution sources should be cleaned up. III. Feeding of Luchuan pigs

When piglets are just raised, they must be domesticated to ensure that pigs can automatically return to the breeding base within a specified period of time. In order to achieve this goal, in the process of culture, it should be kept in captivity for 4 days and put in feed 3 times a day. After that, when putting into feed, as long as the pig reaches 7 points of fullness each time, so that the pig can have a sense of hunger on the second day and take the initiative to go out to look for food. After the middle period of pig breeding, the feed intake of pigs becomes larger, only through foraging in the wild, it is often difficult to meet the growth requirements of pigs, in this case, in order to ensure the healthy growth of pigs, it is necessary to supplement feed regularly.

IV. Disease Prevention and Control of Luchuan Pig

First of all, drive away the mosquitoes in the woodland to avoid parasites in pigs. Some insect repellents can be mixed into the feed, or pigs can be vaccinated regularly, and at the same time, the whole pigsty should be kept in a good environment; secondly, for pigs with symptoms of vomiting and malaise, pigs should be injected with a certain amount of mung bean water in time, or according to veterinarian examination, appropriate reagents should be injected to prevent the death of pigs.
