When the colony develops to a certain number of bees, when the spleen in the hive reaches four or five frames, it is often easy to divide the bees naturally. In the process of bee division, it is inevitable that the worker bees will slow down and the number of eggs laid by the mother bees will decline, especially in the main honey collection period, so that the large groups will be divided into small groups, which will affect the honey production. Therefore, before the natural bee division period, it is necessary to cultivate female bees in batches in a planned way and carry out artificial bee distribution. How to prevent bee fever in the process of bee breeding?

1. Add eggs to the spleen

Pull out all the lid spleen of the hot bee colony, leaving the egg spleen. At the same time, from the new groups, mating groups or other weak groups with many eggs, the egg worm spleen is drawn and fed to the bee colony, so that each frame of foot bee bears a frame of egg worm spleen, which increases the burden of worker bees and increases the consumption of royal jelly, so as to relieve the mood of bee division.

2. Simulated bee division

Put a set of beehives with empty spleen in the position of the hot bee colony, put an auxiliary cover about 3 centimeters away from the front of the landing plate, and tilt the end of the near landing plate. Shake all the bees on the auxiliary cover in front of the nest and let it crawl into the prepared hive. After the destruction of the king platform on the egg worm's spleen, it is put back into the original group, and the rest of the spleen is deposited with other groups.

3. Separate the hive

First remove the relay box, destroy all the king's platform in the nest box, and then add a relay box with several empty spleen and nest box frames, then cover the king grid, and fold back the original relay box on the king grid. The original hive is divided into upper and lower layers, which expands the volume a lot, and creates conditions for the queen bee to lay eggs in the middle box, and it is very easy to release the bee fever.

4. Propose the queen bee.

During the peak period of bee fever, it is useless to destroy the king platform. The queen bee and two lids that are coming out of the room can be put into a flat box and placed on the lid of the original group box or on the edge of the beehive. A few days later, the queen bee's abdomen is enlarged and the spawning returns to the original positive state. At this time, the royal platform of the original group is completely destroyed and then merged into the original group.

5. Transfer into empty spleen

At the beginning of the flow of honey, all the offspring of the colony with severe bee fever can be put forward and replaced into the empty spleen. Make the colony feel that there is no successor and no longer have the conditions to divide the bees. Coupled with the increasingly surging flow of honey, the honeybee instinct to gather honey is enhanced, which will relieve or weaken the mood of the bees.

6. Exchange of boxes

In the honey flow period, destroy all the Wangtai that split the bee hot group, and at the peak of the worker bee coming out of the nest to collect honey, change the box position with the new Wang weak group without bee fever, and then make up some empty spleen for the weak group. As a result of the loss of a large number of working bees, bee fever can generally be lifted.

7. Swap positions with weak bees

During the period of abundant auxiliary honey source, if the bee colony has bee fever, it can swap positions with the weak colony or mating colony after cutting off the mother bee platform and drone pupae. But the Chinese bees are more vigilant. Before doing so, the two groups of bees climbing on the partition or sub-cover should exchange with each other and land in front of the nest door of the two groups. If they do not bite each other, they can change places. The change of position should be carried out on a sunny day when the flying bees go out to collect. In the evening, the excess spleen should be added to the weak group.
