China is the country with the widest distribution of Sturgeon and the most abundant resources. Sturgeon is very large after adulthood, and its general weight can reach 68-250kg. Now the area of artificial culture is getting wider and wider. Here are the five culture conditions that Sturgeon need to have!

I. Water temperature requirements

Sturgeon do not have high requirements for water temperature, and can quickly adapt to various water temperatures, with a minimum water temperature of 0 degrees and a maximum of no more than 35 degrees, but the most suitable water temperature for artificial culture is about 20 degrees. During the production and incubation period, the water temperature is controlled at about 19 degrees. When the winter temperature is low, the appetite of Sturgeon decreases or even stops eating, so it is necessary to control the water temperature at about 15 degrees. Make sure the Sturgeon eats normally.

2. Dissolved oxygen in water

Sturgeon demand for dissolved oxygen is very high, in culture, if the dissolved oxygen content in the water is unstable, it is not suitable to cultivate Sturgeon, when breeding, the dissolved oxygen in the water should be controlled above 5mg, if lower than this value, it will reduce the appetite of Sturgeon, if lower than 3mg, Sturgeon stop eating, there are symptoms of hypoxia, resulting in slow movement of Sturgeon, coma and even death.

Acidity and alkalinity of water quality

The pH of the aquaculture water is also very important to the growth of Sturgeon. Sturgeon cannot grow in acidic water. We should control the PH value of the water at about 7.5. The alkaline water is more suitable for the growth of Sturgeon. If the water is slightly acidic, the carbon dioxide content in the water will greatly increase, resulting in a sharp decline in dissolved oxygen, causing a serious impact on the growth of Sturgeon, and will also increase ammonia nitrogen and other gases. Resulting in the development of Sturgeon hindered or even died.

Fourth, lighting demand

Sturgeon's demand for light will vary with the change of lifestyle. When swimming vertically, Sturgeon will have a certain photophobia to light, but as the Sturgeon slowly enters the benthic stage, it will gradually disappear. Usually, light will not affect the growth and development of Sturgeon, but in the high temperature environment in summer, the sun will increase the water temperature and affect the growth of Sturgeon. Therefore, we should build a reasonable sunshade on the breeding pond.

5. Transparency of water quality

In order to ensure the healthy growth of Sturgeon, in the process of cultivation, we should ensure that the culture pond has at least 50cm transparency, clean up Sturgeon feces and residual bait in time, avoid reducing the transparency of water body, control the quantity of plankton and other substances, and ensure water quality. when Sturgeon gradually grow up, the transparency can be reduced to about 30cm, so that the growth of Sturgeon can be observed. So that problems can be dealt with in a timely manner.

The above is the introduction of the culture conditions of Sturgeon in the soil flow network. in addition to the above five conditions, ammonia nitrogen gas and water flow rate are all needed in the process of culture, so we must pay attention to them in the process of culture to avoid unnecessary losses.
