You don't know the complete set of earthworm breeding techniques!
Earthworm is a species distributed in many ecosystems, which can be used as biological fertilizer, improve soil and so on. The following is to sort out the complete collection of earthworm breeding techniques for your reference.
I. conditions and environment of earthworm culture
Earthworms are nocturnal animals that usually hibernate in soil caves during the day, go out at night, and go out from 8 p.m. in summer and autumn to 4 a.m. the next day. In the second phase, it likes to live in wet, loose and organic soil, and the surrounding environment is quiet and warm; it needs a dark, noise-free and vibration-free environment when raising earthworms.
Second, the introduction of earthworm culture
Before putting the earthworms on the breeding ground, adjust the humidity of the rotten feed, spread the 10cm along the trenches excavated in the mulberry garden, then evenly put the earthworms containing egg blocks and juvenile calls, and then put the feed of 5cm on it. The culture density can be controlled at 2-2.5kg/m2 or 1-15000 pieces / m2. In principle, the density can be slightly higher in the early stage and gradually reduced in the later stage. In addition, there are many varieties of earthworms, which can be selected according to their needs, such as William's ring worms, Hubei ginseng ring worms, Daping No.2 earthworms, white stem ring worms and ginseng ring worms.
III. Allocation of earthworm feed
Earthworms are omnivorous animals, with the exception of glass, plastic and rubber, other material decomposition can be fed. Generally to corn, wheat, rice and other crop straw, pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks and other livestock and poultry manure, vegetable leaves, melon peel, fruit, waste paper and some industrial wastes and so on.
Reference formula: 100kg fresh cow dung, 4kg Jiuqu, 12kg corn straw powder and 18kg mixture of bran shell powder and mushroom bud were fully mixed, then piled on the ground, sprinkled with water, then covered with plastic film, fermented under anaerobic conditions, the fermentation temperature was 40-60 ℃, turned the pile once in 10 days, and added water, fermented for 30 days, turned the heap to get earthworm feed. The earthworm feed is put into the culture box, and 2500-3500 earthworm species are put into the box per square meter.
4. feeding temperature and humidity of earthworms
The best breeding temperature for earthworms is 20-27 ℃. In the summer high temperature season, pig manure can be poured directly on the earthworm bed manure after adding water into a paste fermentation in the manure storage tank; in addition, in summer, we should try to sprinkle water once every afternoon, combined with rice straw to moisturize, and sprinkle water every 3-5 days in spring and autumn.
Fifth, the harvest of earthworms
According to the breeding density of earthworms and the needs of production, the collection of earthworms is reasonably arranged. the harvesting method is mainly to use a special iron flat thorn rake to shovel out the feces of the earthworm bed, and then pick out the manure containing more earthworms and pile them on the plastic film by hand. because the earthworms are afraid of light for 15-20 minutes, the earthworms gradually move down to the plastic film, and then the surface manure is gradually included and put back to the earthworm bed, and the last remaining is clean earthworms.
Although it is not difficult to cultivate earthworms, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of feed and protein poisoning symptoms in the process of earthworm breeding.
