Pot pomegranate culture should carry out full-day maintenance, watering once every 3-5 days to keep the soil dry, and applying dilute fertilizer solution to supplement nutrients for 10-15 days to make it grow vigorously. Prune the vigorous branches in time, do a good job of overwintering and cold prevention in the low temperature winter of 5 ℃, and turn the basin and change the soil once every two years.

1. Sufficient light

Light-loving potted pomegranate should be provided with sufficient light to avoid poor growth such as yellow leaves due to lack of light. Pot plants should be placed in the sun for all-day maintenance, which will make them grow and blossom better.

2. Water and fertilizer management

When cultivating potted pomegranate, do not water too much, generally water once every 3 to 5 days, make the soil moist and not dry, do not spray water on flowers to avoid falling flowers during flowering, and pay attention to apply thin fertilizer solution once every 10 to 15 days when fertilizing, to meet its demand for fertilizer and make it exuberant.

3. Shaping and pruning

In the cultivation method of potted pomegranate, we should do a good job in shaping and pruning, cut the vigorous branches in time or cut off the weak branches and diseased branches which consume nutrients, so as to maintain the good plant type and healthy growth state of pomegranate potted plants.

4. Overwintering against cold

When the winter temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the potted pomegranate will enter the dormancy period. In order to do a good job of overwintering, the potted pomegranate should be covered with plastic film directly above the flowerpot in the south, while in the north, the potted pomegranate should be moved back to indoor maintenance to overwinter.

5. Turn the basin and change the soil

After 1 ~ 2 years, it is necessary to turn the basin and change the soil of the potted pomegranate to avoid the soil consolidation affecting the normal growth of the pomegranate tree. When turning the pot, we should also do a good job of pruning the roots, remove the old roots and make them grow new ones, and replace the new loose and fertile soil so that they can grow and bloom better.
