Sow breeding technology

Sows do a good job of disinfection before and after production and during production. 1. Environmental disinfection

Sows are disinfected before and after production, and during production, attention should be paid to controlling the personnel and vehicles entering the pig farm, and disinfection should also be done before entering the pig house to prevent carrying germs from affecting the growth of sows. Each batch of sows will be thoroughly disinfected in the delivery room, and the empty column will be transferred to the sows after a week or so. After entering the production period, the sow should be disinfected twice, and the disinfectant should use drugs that do little harm to the sow, prepare more than two kinds of disinfection, and strengthen the disinfection intensity.

2. Immune injection

The first injection of classical swine fever vaccine should be carried out about 3 weeks after piglets were born. A month later, do a good job of immunity against foot-and-mouth disease, paratyphoid and other diseases. The second immunization against classical swine fever should be carried out in two months, and attention should also be paid to the prevention and treatment of swine erysipelas, lung disease and other infectious diseases.

3. Timely deworming

When raising sows, we should make a good deworming plan according to the deworming process. Regular deworming can not only enhance the immunity of pigs, but also prevent various diseases. 20 days before sow production and once after weaning, attention should be paid to selecting insect repellents with good effect and low toxicity.
