With the continuous improvement of living standards, more and more people begin to like to eat game. Partridge is a kind of popular food at present. Its meat is delicious and its flavor is unique. It is often in short supply in the market. Partridge farmers are also increasing, so what are the points for attention in partridge breeding? What are the prospects?

Matters needing attention in partridge breeding

1. Site construction

Breeding partridges can be raised in barns or poultry sheds or in the open air. However, in areas where the temperature difference is relatively large, it is best to cultivate partridges in a closed way. If the scale of breeding is relatively large, you can invest in the establishment of intensive factories to raise partridges. Breeding grounds should be prepared for brooding related settings, warm equipment, drinking fountains, food troughs and other equipment.

two。 Daily culture conditions

(1) Light: partridges use natural light from the age of 4 months to 7 months, and keep light for 16 hours a day after 7 months of age, so as to promote the reproductive skills of partridges and increase the rate of egg production. The light time and intensity should not be long or short, high or low, otherwise it will affect egg laying.

(2) temperature: the suitable temperature for partridges to lay eggs is 15 to 25 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 30 degrees, it will affect the laying and fertilization rate. When the temperature is less than 5 degrees, it is necessary to heat the house, and the temperature should not be lower than 8 degrees.

(3) Environment: the environment around partridges should be kept quiet so that partridges will not be frightened and affect their growth and laying eggs. Breeders' overalls, sinks, utensils and other colors should be fixed.

(4) Feed: partridges are basically mature after 4 months of age and are fed with laying hens with 17% protein. The feeding amount of female partridges is between 24 and 28 grams per day, roughage can be appropriately increased in the feed, and roughage can be abolished after 5 months old.

(5) Disease prevention and control: at the age of 6 months, partridges need to be vaccinated with triple oil vaccine against Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis and egg drop syndrome and dewormed once. Not every two months to prevent blackhead, pay attention to infectious rhinitis and other diseases.

3. Feeding and management of partridges

If it is a wild partridge, most of the time and energy will be devoted to finding food. But domestic partridges often fly in cages or indoors and kill each other because they have plenty of food and have no place to vent their time and energy. the pecking and killing of partridges is the biggest threat to raising partridges. The reasons for partridge pecking and killing are generally overcrowding, insufficient food or drinking water, high or low temperature and humidity in the partridge house, and so on.

At present, there are no effective measures to deal with partridges pecking and killing each other, and comprehensive preventive measures are generally adopted. For example, measures such as effectively controlling the breeding density of partridges, controlling the temperature and humidity in the house, keeping the light in the house soft, ensuring feed and drinking water, and adequate length of food trough and sink.

Second, the prospect of culture.

At present, partridges generally lay eggs at the age of 6 months, growing from shell to 1 jin in as long as 80 days, and the speed of breeding is very fast. The cost of breeding is also relatively low. The feed of 20 chickens can raise 100 partridges, and the price of partridges is much higher than that of chickens. The current market situation, the current price of partridges is 16 yuan per jin, the cost of raising each is about 4 yuan, the profit is still relatively high. And at present, the breeding scope and sales scope of partridges are constantly expanding, and the prospect of breeding is very good.

The bones of partridges are very fine, the meat yield is very high, and the meat is rich in protein and trace elements, which is loved by many families. The prospect of partridge breeding is also very considerable, and it is relatively easy to breed.
