First of all, it is necessary to build a chicken house, which can be built in a place with convenient transportation, leeward, sufficient light, normal drainage and irrigation and no stagnant water. Then it is put into the feed, which can be raised separately, and the chickens can go out to feed themselves, or they can be raised in captivity and fed with green fodder, corn, wheat, rice, sorghum, silkworm pupa, fish meal, meat meal and so on. It is necessary to do a good job in sanitation, disinfection and epidemic prevention, and sell them in due course.

1. Build a chicken house: the chicken house should be built in a place with convenient transportation, leeward, adequate light, normal drainage and irrigation, and no stagnant water. it is necessary to do a good job in the planning of the lounge and playground, and then prepare the sink, food trough and temperature control facilities.

2. Feed: the chickens can be kept loose, let the chickens go out to feed on grass, grass seeds, withered leaves, insects and flies, etc., or they can be kept in captivity, and they can be fed with green fodder, corn, wheat, rice, sorghum, silkworm pupa, fish meal, meat meal, etc. Generally, the material should be fed once after 10:00 in the morning, once after 3pm, and once again before falling asleep. If it is a chicken seedling that has just come out of its shell, it can be fed with digestible and nutritious feed, and a small number of meals can be achieved.

3. Disease prevention and control: if it is a free-range chicken, it has strong disease resistance and less disease, but it has more opportunities to come into contact with pathogens, so it is necessary to do a good job in hygiene, disinfection and epidemic prevention. The common diseases of chickens are colibacillosis, trichomoniasis and so on. If an epidemic disease occurs, it should be treated in time. Every day, chicken droppings should be cleared regularly, the chicken house should be disinfected regularly, the deteriorated feed and drinking water should not be fed, and the breeding density should be controlled.

4. Timely sales: chickens should be sold at the right time to maximize profits. If the feeding period is too short, it will lead to poor meat quality and bad taste. If the feeding period is too long, it will lead to older meat quality and higher feeding costs, which is not cost-effective.
