How to deal with diarrhea in piglets

Piglet diarrhea may be caused by sows' illness. Generally, the sows can be injected with Changduqing, Chuanlikang, dysentery and other drugs, once a day, a course of treatment for three days, and the amount can be increased if the condition is serious. Or weaning the piglets, let the piglets eat their own food, put the suckling pig feed into a paste with warm water and put it in the mouth of the piglets, and the piglets can eat their own food after 3-5 days of training.

1. Weaning: weaning should not be based solely on time, but should be determined according to the feeding condition of piglets (generally 28 days of weaning requires a cumulative feed intake of more than 500 grams per piglet). Only piglets can be weaned when they can eat happily.

2. Food inducement: 7 days old, piglets are separated from sows and fed regularly, gradually prolonging the feeding interval, forcing piglets to hunt for food. Piglets that really do not eat should be assisted manually. Put the suckling pig feed into a paste with warm water and put it in the mouth of the piglets. generally, the piglets can eat their own food after 3-5 days of training.

3. Suckling pig feed: suckling pig feed should be fresh, take as much as you use, and tie the mouth of the bag tightly after taking the material. Do not put the suckling pig feed in the pigsty, but put the suckling pig feed trough in a place with suitable temperature to prevent piglets from being afraid of cold. The suckling pig trough is cleaned at least once a day to prevent piglets from diarrhea caused by moldy overnight trough attachments.
