Bees breeding should first select the colony and choose the most suitable local bees. The selected colony is then kept in a solid, lightweight hive prepared in advance. Artificial feeding of honey, syrup and pollen is carried out in winter or at night when there is little nectar. Finally, it is necessary to do a good job in routine management such as cleaning beehives and checking colonies, and special management such as dividing bees, changing kings, and merging colonies.

Bees keeping should also pay attention to:

1. Pest control

The prevention and control of diseases and insect pests is the most important work of honeybee breeding, and to a large extent, it almost determines the success or failure of beekeeping. In terms of disease detection and treatment, we must pay attention to the hygiene of feed and beehives at ordinary times. In addition, we can often add some disease prevention drugs to feed, prevent hives and bee mites in terms of insect pests, and prevent good wasps, ants and spiders in terms of enemy pests.

two。 Feed

(1) feeding honey: you can use honey to warm water for 20% and then dilute it. The diluted honey can be fed by spleen irrigation or into a frame feeder.

(2) feeding syrup: use white sugar and then add water for about 50%. After artificial heating and dissolving, it is best to add 0.1% citric acid to the syrup to facilitate digestion and absorption. Brown sugar should not be used at this time.

(3) Water feeding: each bee colony needs to collect 200 million 300 milliliters of water a day. Fill the feeder with water or put a soaked towel on the gauze cover to collect water by yourself.

(4) Salt feeding: add 1% salt to the syrup.

3. Site selection

To ensure that the range of 2.5 kilometers around the beehive, there should be sufficient nectar plants and auxiliary nectar plants, and the main and auxiliary plants should coordinate with each other. The best site is on the hillside near the sun, which can ensure sufficient light.

At present, the market of honey is considerable, and the prospect of honeybee breeding is also very good, but honeybee breeding still needs to master good technology.
