Tenebrio Molitor is the most common insect that feeds fish and shrimp. Because it is easy to breed and the investment cost is low, many people raise it. How to raise it?

1. Culture environment

Tenebrio Molitor is relatively small, the larvae are only about 1-2 cm, and the larvae are mainly sold, so the environment is mainly changed for the larvae. The environment should be relatively dark, because Tenebrio Molitor does not like light, the indoor temperature needs to be a little higher, controlled above 20 °, too low will affect its growth. Ventilation does not need to be too strong, so as not to damage the indoor temperature environment. The breeding site should be relatively quiet, and when the sound is louder, the yellow pink insect will be in a state of stimulation. There should be no peculiar smell in the room. Tenebrio Molitor is sensitive to peculiar smell and does great harm.

2. Set up breeding

The cultivation of Rehmannia glutinosa powder insects does not take up space, and it is generally raised in wooden boxes, the size of which is about 80-40-12. It can also be cultivated in cardboard boxes and the like. After preparing the box, build the right shelf according to the size of the box, the shelf should be a little stronger, height according to your own needs, and then put the box on the shelf. The box should be easy to take out, because the box should be moved frequently during the breeding management. The inner wall of the box needs to be smooth, leaving at least a distance of about 6-8 cm high, so that the yellow powder bug will not run out easily.

3. Larval release

When the larvae are ready, the larvae need to put some wheat bran at the bottom of the box before release, the thickness is about 1-2 cm, and the newly hatched larvae of Tenebrio Molitor are put into it and stirred, the number is about 8000-10000. It must be evenly separated so that the larvae do not pile up together and are not conducive to growth. At a later stage, it is necessary to decide whether to reduce the number of Tenebrio Molitor in a single box according to the situation. During the larval period of 1-2 cm, the best living condition is to keep the weight of the Tenebrio Molitor in a box about 3 jin.

4. Feed feeding

At present, the main food that feeds Tenebrio Molitor is wheat bran, and then mixed with some other products to breed. In the box, separate the yellow powder worms with wheat bran and mix them evenly. The wheat bran is more than 2 centimeters thick. In order to maintain its adequate nutrition, some stirring such as corn flour and bean cake can be added in the middle. The ratio of wheat bran to corn: 2: bean cake is about 1. Except for the same proportion of wheat bran, other items and columns can be changed properly. In order to meet the water and nutritional requirements of Tenebrio Molitor, vegetable leaves are also a necessary food in daily life. Stir up the vegetable leaves and spread them evenly in the box, following the principle of feeding more and less.

Generally speaking, Tenebrio Molitor is easy to breed, as long as the temperature is controlled, the feed is well fed, and the feces are cleaned regularly. When it grows to a certain size, it can be sold or fed to fish and shrimp.
