Special glass or plastic feeding boxes 4-5 times larger than scorpions should be ventilated. The bottom is covered with coconut soil, wood blocks, dodging objects or reptiles are placed in the box to avoid caves, a small basin that is not easy for scorpions to climb into, and a thermometer. Keep the temperature in the feeding box about 26 ℃ and the air humidity around 60-70%. Spray water regularly and pay attention to heat preservation in winter. Mainly feed bread worms, crickets, red cherry cockroaches and so on, once a week. Different kinds of scorpions need different cushion materials and different temperature and humidity.

Scorpions suitable for pets

1. Asian rainforest scorpion: it feeds on insects and small lizards and is slightly poisonous. Similar to the imperial scorpion, the body is slender and streamlined, the surface of the chelate limb is slender and smooth, while the front end of the tail is black, and the adult length is about 12-15 cm.

2. Emperor scorpion: it is one of the largest scorpions in the world. The body is round and thick, the surface is rough and uneven, the poison needle at the end is red, and the body length is about 20 cm.

3. Black thick-tailed scorpion: semi-desert scorpion, with an extremely stout tail with tentacles and a body length of 7-12 cm.

There are tricolor velvet thick tail scorpion, yellow fat tail scorpion, North African black fat tail, Tanzania alligator back scorpion and so on are used as pets by people.

Scorpion feeding is relatively simple, the need for decorations is not much, mainly to maintain the temperature and humidity control.
