Every time I go to the park, I will see some koi swimming around in the pool, which is very attractive, and some of them specialize in selling feed to feed the fish. What kind of feed does the koi eat?

What kind of feed should koi eat?

Koi can eat feed with higher protein content, such as crushed corn dregs, steamed bread, artificial nutritious feed, vegetable cake, bean cake, bread crumbs, crab meat, duckweed, water plants, water earthworms and so on. If the fish fry stage, you can feed some cooked egg yolk, soft worms, soybean milk and so on. When feeding, try to feed the fish at a fixed time and at a fixed point to avoid stress reaction.

When should I feed the brocade carp?

1. When the water temperature of your fish tank is 10-13 degrees, it is recommended to feed it 4-5 days a week; if you see that your carp have an appetite, you can choose to feed a small amount of high-carbohydrate, low-protein, moisturizing and laxative foods, such as pumpkin seeds, cereal, bread, rice, and so on.

2. When the water temperature of your fish raising koi is 13-15 degrees Celsius, it is recommended that you can feed it 2 to 3 days a week. You can choose to feed vegetables and low-protein wheat germ feed. As the temperature rises, feeding can be increased.

3. When the water temperature of koi is 15-16 degrees Celsius, you can feed a low-protein (25%) diet once a day, mixed with high-carbohydrate vegetables and fruits. At 16-19 degrees Celsius, feed once a day, gradually increase the amount of protein pellet feed (35%) and feed, and add different vegetables and fruits to the diet. Feed 35% protein feed twice a day when the water temperature is 19-21 degrees Celsius, adding a variety of fruits and vegetables.

4. When you raise koi at a water temperature of 22-26 degrees Celsius, add vegetables, fruits and shrimp (if you want to use Seyang feed, you can add it at this time). You can make your koi fat.

5. If the water temperature is between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius, the amount of feed should be reduced and vegetables and fruits should be increased (it is very important to increase the waterfall at this time). When the water temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, feed vegetables and fruits. Stop feeding when it exceeds 35 degrees Celsius and increase the waterfall gas.

Generally speaking, koi can eat a lot of feed, but when feeding, try to feed some high-protein food, so that the fish can grow healthily.
