Point 1: brood equipment

Point 2: Breeding environment

The optimum temperature of peacock at 1~10 days old is 34~38℃, at 11~20 days old 28~26℃, at 21~30 days old 26~24℃, and the feather increase after that can be the same as that at room temperature. The relative humidity should be controlled at 60~70%.

Point 3: Feeding management

Peacock 1~10 months 4 times a day cooked eggs, powder, green feed, bread worms, etc., 11~30 months 3 times a day cooked eggs, meat foam, powder, green feed, bread worms, etc., 31~60 months 2~3 times a day and different, then add corn residue, sorghum, etc.

Point 4: Cultivation density

It is appropriate to feed 40~50 peacocks per flock, reduce the feeding density with the increase of age, take free feeding and drinking water, keep the environment quiet, prevent group alarm, regularly disinfect, deworm and epidemic prevention, rodent control, animal control work, and timely isolate sick chicks.

Point 5: Prevention and treatment of diseases

Peacock adaptability and disease resistance is very strong, but in the environmental conditions and breeding management is not ideal also easy to suffer from white dysentery, avian cholera, coccidiosis, pinworm disease, some areas have also occurred chicken Newcastle disease, avian pox, Marek's disease, etc., should pay attention to prevention and control.
