The first difference is that the species are different: the warped-mouth fish is a fish of the genus Cyprinidae, and the white striped fish is a fish of the family Cyprinidae.

Difference 2, size different: warped beak fish is larger, can grow to more than 1 meter long, common weight is 2 kilograms 2.5 kilograms, the largest weight is 10 kilograms 15 kilograms. The white striped fish is smaller, with a body length of about 15-20 cm and a maximum of 30 cm.

Third, the shape is different: the back of the warped-billed fish is light brown, the side of the body is silver-gray, the ventral surface is silver-white, the dorsal fin and caudal fin are gray-black, the pectoral fin, ventral fin and anal fin are gray-white, and the caudal fin is deeply forked. The white striped fish has a bluish gray back, silvery white sides and ventral surfaces, strong body reflection, no other patterns, grayish black caudal fins, other fins light yellow, bifurcated caudal fins, and the lower leaf is slightly longer than the upper leaf.

Fourth, the mouth is different: the mouth of the warped-mouthed fish is tilted upward, and the extent of the tilt can be perpendicular to the body. The mouth of the white striped fish looks a little flatter and looks similar to a normal fish.

Distinction 5, different feeding habits: warped beak fish is a fierce carnivorous fish, with plankton and aquatic insects as the staple food at the seedling stage, and more than 50 grams mainly devour small fish and shrimps; its continuous feeding is very strong. Throughout the year, whether it is spring rain, hot summer or autumn and stuffy winter, as long as there are feeding conditions, it always swallows constantly. White striped fish is omnivorous fish, mainly feeding on algae, but also higher plant debris, crustaceans and aquatic insects, especially small shrimps in rivers.
