Are frogs protecting animals?

Is the frog a protected animal?
Frogs are protected animals, and are national third-class protected animals, but there is a special kind of frogs that belong to the national second-class protected animals, that is, tiger frogs. Frogs are protected animals prohibited by the state, but in daily life, many people use frog meat as a tonic or delicacy, causing some vendors to hunt and kill frogs wantonly. Killing frogs will inevitably destroy the ecological balance and lead to the spread of pests.
Tiger frog, also known as water chicken, belongs to aquatic frogs, which is known as "frog of Asia". It is deeply loved by consumers because of its unique flavor, delicious taste and high nutritional value. Due to habitat destruction and overcapture, the number of tiger frogs in nature is decreasing day by day, and has been listed as a national second-class protected animal.
