What are the breeds of cattle

There are many breeds of cattle, mainly for dairy, meat, service and dual use. Dairy cattle mainly produce milk and dairy products, such as Chinese Holstein cattle, Dutch cattle and so on. Beef cattle mainly produce beef and beef products, such as Heyford cattle, Angus cattle, short-horned cattle and so on. Service cattle are mainly used for farming, such as Chinese yellow cattle, buffalo and so on. Dual-purpose cattle have both milk and meat, such as Simmental, Swiss brown cattle, Danish Red Bull and so on.

Introduction of five famous cattle breeds in China:

1. Nanyang cattle: it is a large service meat breed. There are yellow, red, grass white three kinds, mainly yellow, nose and neck are mostly flesh red; tall, strong and long-lasting, fine meat, strong fragrance, obvious marbling, excellent leather.

2. Jinnan cattle: it is a large service meat breed. The coat color is mainly jujube, the nose is pink, and the hoof and toe are mostly pink; the body is tall and sturdy, strong, fast and durable.

3. Yanbian cattle: it belongs to the service meat breed in the cold temperate mountain area. Most of the coat colors are different yellow, and the nose is generally light brown; strong physique, strong adaptability, solid bones, tender and juicy meat, delicious and palatable, obvious marbling.

4. Qinchuan cattle: it is a large service beef breed. The coat color is mostly fuchsia and red, yellow is less, and the nose is fleshy red; tall, strong bones, plump muscles, strong physique, strong service, meticulous meat, soft and succulent, obvious marbling.

5. Luxi yellow cattle: it belongs to the type of service meat. The coat color is from light yellow to brown red, with yellow as the most, and the hair color of most cattle is light under the eyes, mouth wheel, abdomen and inside of the limbs; the body drive is tall, the fleshy plane surface is snowflake-like, red and white, bright and beautiful, and the meat is soft and delicate.
