Taiping Village, Lalin Town, about 50 kilometers away from Harbin City, has a history of growing vegetables for many years. Cabbage, cabbage and scallions have become the main local vegetables because of their outstanding quality. After scallion comes on the market in July and August every year, many vegetable wholesalers buy it from Qi Ju Lalin. Tong Lijun, head of the evergreen vegetable farmers' professional cooperative in Taiping Village, said that because the price of scallion was low during the listing period, some big purchasers shipped to other warehouses for storage after acquisition, and then exported and exported after the winter price rose. In order to increase profits, the evergreen cooperative built a large-scale constant temperature cold storage of more than 4000 tons in the village the year before last. While renting the warehouse to wholesalers, it also stored a large number of home-grown vegetables to seek market price differences. Tong Lijun told reporters that the price of scallions out of the warehouse has tripled compared with that when they first went on the market. This winter, more than 1000 tons of scallions coexisted in their warehouse, almost all of which were shipped by wholesalers and finally sold to Thailand and Vietnam.

Yuanye Village, located in Hulan District, sells its main local carrots to Russia as early as the beginning of autumn. Zhang Benlu, chairman of the village's agricultural and vegetable cooperative, said that before the carrots were listed, the cooperative sent people to many places to look for new markets, and finally contacted a number of border traders in Mudanjiang area. After inspecting the production situation in Yuanye Village on the spot, the other party was very satisfied and sent large trucks to pull it almost every day. The average daily purchase volume accounted for 40% of the sales volume of the cooperative, and at most 100000 jin of carrots were collected in one day.

According to the person in charge of the Harbin Municipal Committee of Agriculture, Harbin exports vegetables to Russia in addition to carrots, there are also a large number of potatoes, tomatoes and so on. In addition, Japan and South Korea are also exporters of vegetables in Harbin, but they prefer cabbage.
