There are thousands of living things in the world, forming a food chain, one link after another. Is there any animal that does not have natural enemies?

Animals without natural predators

Orcas, sperm whales, great white sharks, polar bears, tigers, Komodo dragons, Andean vultures, lions and other animals at the top of the food chain have few natural enemies.

Orca: a large toothed whale that weighs 9 tons and is 10 meters long in adulthood with sharp and fierce teeth.

2. Polar bear: currently the largest predator on land, male polar bears can weigh up to 800 kilograms and stand 2.8 meters upright. They have huge paws, sharp claws and fast running.

3. Komodo dragon: the largest lizard in existence. The longest can be up to 3 meters, more than 100 kilograms. Their teeth are serrated and 2.5 centimeters long, and their claws are their main weapon.

4. Andean vultures: also known as Condo vultures, the world's largest bird of prey. The body length is 130 centimeters, the maximum weight is 15 kilograms, and the wings are 3.2 meters apart.

What is the food chain?

The term food chain appeared in 1927 and was proposed by Elton, a British animal ecologist. The chemicals stored in organic matter in the ecosystem can be transmitted layer by layer in the ecosystem, that is, organisms are connected to each other by eating and being eaten. The sequence of organisms linked to each other by food and nutrition, like a chain, is ecologically called the food chain.

The animals mentioned above are the best in their respective fields, with few natural enemies, but human activities have reduced their habitats and their numbers, so human beings pose the greatest threat to animals.

The animals at the top of the food chain have few natural enemies, but they will also face a variety of survival problems. Human activities have a great impact on the whole biosphere. We should protect the whole ecological environment and not destroy the natural order.
