In fact, scorpion is not so afraid as we think, it has high medical value, and the market demand is good, and the breeding prospect is also good. So, what is the method of scorpion breeding?

1. Construction of breeding ground

Generally choose to build a breeding pond in an uninhabited empty house or shed, and the scorpion pond is piled with red brick cement and filled with about 6 centimeters of sand at the bottom of the pool. Put plastic film or glass around the pool to create a smooth wall to prevent the scorpion from escaping.

two。 Feed and feeding

Scorpion is a typical carnivore, like mosquitoes, flies, mantis, spiders, crickets and other soft and succulent insects, but also very few species will eat a small amount of plant feed. Therefore, the feeding of scorpions should be meat-based. Scorpion's animal feed can be trapped by leaving a hole about 25 centimeters in diameter in the roof, hanging a lamp above the hole, equipped with a funnel under the light, turning on the light when it is getting dark, attracting mosquitoes and spiders to fall into the scorpion pond, and can also raise and cultivate crickets, maggots and other insects as feed.

For scorpion drinking water, cloth with strong water absorption such as sponge cotton can be used to absorb enough water into the scorpion pond, and an antibiotic (oxytetracycline, sulfonamide, etc.) can be added to the scorpion drinking water every 3 to 5 days. Each tablet is about 4 kg of cold boiled water, mix well and absorb it on the sponge and put it into the scorpion pond.

3. Constant temperature management

When the temperature reaches 10 °C or higher, the scorpion begins to grow normally. When the temperature is below 10 °C, it begins to hibernate. According to practice, scorpions grow and reproduce fastest at 28-38 °C, and their activity time is the longest and their food intake is the highest. Therefore, when the temperature is too low, heating equipment should be installed in the farm to keep the temperature between 28 and 38 ℃, the relative humidity of the air between 60% and 80%, and the water supply the same as in summer.

4. Humidity management

The best air humidity in the farm should be 45% 50%. The water content of sandy soil is between 15% and 20%, so that the sandy soil is not dry or wet, and people do not feel stuffy in the scorpion room. It is important to pay special attention to the fact that the sandy soil should not be too wet, otherwise the scorpion will give birth to acariasis and cause death.

Breeding scorpions is not difficult, and their breeding speed is fast, but beginners are best under the guidance of professionals.
