Goose is a common kind of poultry, because the whole body has use value, commercial value is high, in recent years, more and more people are farmed, so how to raise goose seedlings? How to prevent the disease transmission of geese?

1. Basic introduction of geese

As a common poultry, geese belong to the order Anatidae and Anatidae. Geese have a wide range of uses. Goose meat can be eaten, goose down can be made into clothes, and foie gras is the delicacy of the high table.

The disease resistance of geese is also strong, with hydrophilicity, alertness, cold tolerance, life regularity and so on, and the feeding pollution is small.

Goose is herbivorous poultry, the feed is mainly plant feed, goslings can eat grass from 1 day old, if you can consume about 2kg grass every day.

Second, how to raise goose seedlings?

1. Choose goose seedlings with lively, crisp calls, bright eyes and clean anal navel. Such goose seedlings are healthier.

2. Disinfect the goose house in advance, then put in the goose seedlings, and adjust the temperature of the goose house according to different growth periods.

If the goose house has not been used for a long time or has just raised other livestock, it is best to disinfect it a few more times.

Generally, the suitable growth temperature for goose seedlings less than 6 days old is 28 ℃; the suitable growth temperature for 7-14 days goose seedlings is 25 ℃; the suitable growth temperature for 15-20 days goose seedlings is 22 ℃; and geese over 21 days can grow in normal environment.

3. Feed feeding should follow the principle of feeding amount from less to more, feeding times from more to less, and changing from cooked food to raw food.

In the early stage, they were generally fed 5-6 times a day, and then gradually reduced to 2 times a day.

4. The feeding density of goose seedlings should be suitable, and if the density is too high, it is easy to be crushed.

Goose seedlings can be divided into groups according to the physical quality of goose seedlings, generally about 150 in each group.

In addition, as geese are relatively fragile, we should also pay attention to the prevention of diseases in the growth process. The above is the relevant knowledge of how goose seedlings are raised. I hope it will be of some help to you.
