How to raise serrated turtles?

1. Dry cultivation

Saw-edge turtles belong to semi-water turtles, which are easy to raise and can withstand low humidity. Scylla is probably one of the most land-leaning semi-water turtles, although it may also stay in the mud in its habitat, but unlike tap water, it may rot its armour if it stays in the water for a long time. The color of the saw edge shell is more refutable, and the feel is soft, and sometimes the fingernails can be deducted, so the early rotten nails are more difficult to find. Therefore, in order to prevent sawedge rot, it can be raised like a tortoise, putting only a basin during the day and taking a bath at night.

Second, bask in the sun

III. Diet

Sawedge is omnivorous, but many breeders still tend to give them high-protein worms and meat, but at the same time lack of calcium, resulting in excessive growth but weak carapace, for those bugs with high protein content but lack of calcium, try not to eat more. 4. Temperature

The saw edge requires a high temperature, which can go into hibernation when it is below 19 degrees. Eat normally above 25 degrees, but more than 32 degrees may enter summer hibernation. Therefore, for the temperature control is more important, it is recommended to use heating rods for constant temperature feeding. Eating habits, Scylla likes to eat live food, especially insects, can feed earthworms, locusts, bread worms and so on. The interaction is general, because the turtles that eat live food are basically ferocious, and so is the sawedge.
