When it comes to wild boar, everyone must know that although it is also a pig, it is different from domestic pigs and very wild. However, due to good taste, high nutritional value and high edible value, some areas are currently specialized in catching and breeding, how to raise wild boar?

1. Building houses

Wild boar manic personality, so when building houses, it is best to use stones, bricks and other materials to build a prison pig house, to avoid crazy when the pig house fence and buildings damaged.

2. Feeding

Wild boar feed miscellaneous, not quite the same as domestic pigs, mainly to forage, vegetables and crop roots and other grass feed. Therefore, when feeding, try to give priority to green feeding, and the maximum number of feeding times per day should not exceed twice. The proportion of green feed in the daily diet is more than half, and a small amount of concentrated feed can be added.

3. Domestication

Wild boar is wild and will bite when it is grumpy, so it should be domesticated in the early stage. Generally, it can start from the young wild boar in the early stage. The nature of the young wild boar has not been fully displayed, so it is relatively easy to domesticate. If it is a wild boar captured, ensure that the environment is quiet, and the wild boar slowly adapts. Then, while feeding, it made a specific sound to make the wild boar form a conditioned reflex to eliminate the wild boar's vigilance against humans. Wild boars can also be raised with domestic pigs, because wild boars have a great affinity with domestic pigs and will not attack domestic pigs. Boars can be taken by domestic pigs to eat, and then isolated and raised separately after domestication.

4. Disease prevention

Wild boar has strong growth ability and low incidence of diseases. However, after artificial breeding, wild boar's wildness decreases, and its characteristics will also be subject to certain changes. Therefore, we still have to do a good job in the prevention and control of wild boar diseases, mainly based on prevention. Periodically disinfect the wild boar house completely and thoroughly, and use lime water, potassium permanganate and bleaching powder to reasonably prepare disinfectant. Pig manure must be cleaned every day, feed and drinking water should be clean and hygienic, cooling and keeping warm in summer and winter should be done well to reduce wild boar stress reaction.

In general, the breeding method of wild boar is different from domestic pigs. In addition to building pig houses, domestication and feeding are also required. Only in this way can wild boar be well bred.
