How to raise scalpers
Yellow cattle is a common breed of cattle in China, which is resistant to feeding, strong physique, mild temperament and good meat quality, so many farmers choose to raise it. How to raise scalpers?
How to raise scalpers
1. First of all, it is necessary to choose a good breeding site for raising yellow cattle, with high terrain, flat ground, good lighting conditions, no noise and no pollution sources around.
2. The barn can be built with wooden piles, planks, cloth, green bricks, sand, cement, etc. The area of the barn is determined according to the number of cattle raised. Generally, an adult cow covers an area of 1.5 to 1.8 square meters.
3. After the construction of the cowshed, the floor should be disinfected with lime, the walls and ceilings can be disinfected by spray, and ventilation should be carried out after disinfection.
4. After the construction of the barn, a simple construction of the barn should be carried out. The surrounding area of the barn should be 3 to 4 times larger than that of the barn. The ground of the barn should be paved with sand, and barbed wire should be used around it to prevent other livestock from approaching the barn. Some water tanks should be placed in the barn to facilitate water buffalo drinking.
5. Choose high quality yellow cattle breeds. The bull must be strong, the waist and back straight, the abdomen must not show signs of sagging, the bull's testicles are well developed and the fur is smooth; in addition to the above conditions, the cow's nipple development is good, the milk plate should be large, and the nipple size is uniform. The ratio of bull to cow is 1 ∶ 3.
6. Yellow cattle should be temporarily reared after being transported back to the barn, and the time should be controlled at 3-5 days. during this period, the food supply should be maintained from 7 to 8, drinking more water for yellow cattle, and a small amount of salt should be added to the water. if the yellow cattle have a bad appetite, you can add some drugs to help the cattle to drink, and if you temporarily raise the cattle to diarrhea or hunger strike and other problems, you should seek veterinarian treatment in time.
7. After the temporary breeding of yellow cattle, put them into the enclosure for breeding. Ensure adequate diet every day, clean feces every day, and disinfect the trough and sink regularly, once every 10-15 days. The deworming of yellow cattle is carried out twice a year, usually in spring and autumn.
Feed it three times a day, once in the morning, once in the morning, once in the evening. The forage of cattle should be diversified. Concentrate, roughage, green and succulent feed should be matched, energy feed and protein feed should be matched, grasses and legumes should be matched, and various nutrients of forage can play a complementary role. It can also improve palatability and promote appetite. Because a variety of feed needs to be matched, it is much easier to change the diet composition than a single feed.
9. Cows should be fed mainly with roughage and a small amount of concentrate in the first 5 months of pregnancy. After entering the second and third trimester of pregnancy, cows should gradually increase the amount of concentrate feed to ensure adequate input of protein, minerals and vitamins in the feed. After successful pregnancy, cows should be kept in isolation to avoid miscarriage caused by collision between cows.
10. Before fattening, cattle should carry out a comprehensive inspection and eliminate the weak and diseased cattle in time. At the same time, they should be scientifically grouped according to age, weight, sex and nutritional status, raised in groups and grazed in groups. During the breeding period, fattening cattle should adhere to concentrate feed, supplemented by roughage, feed feeding should be gradually increased according to the principle from less to more, and the content of crude fiber in the diet should be controlled at more than 30%.
In the work of yellow cattle breeding, it is necessary to do a good job in the supply of nutrition, reasonable collocation and scientific breeding in order to raise high quality and good quality.
