1. Starting from September, feed the tortoise twice a day and make the turtle as full as possible for a month.

February, October turtles no longer eat, ready to hibernate, can be prepared to soak the turtle in warm water, which can stimulate the intestines and stomach of the turtle to let the turtle defecate, which is beneficial to health.

3. In addition, it is necessary to maintain a suitable temperature and humidity. If the tortoise has enough weight and fat, it can hibernate normally. Otherwise, warm water should be heated for the winter.

Because the hibernating time of turtles is generally about half a year, it is actually very difficult for turtles to rely on the fat stored in the previous month for the winter. Only turtles with enough weight and fat can persist.

If the turtle at home has been raised for a long time and is relatively healthy, you can spread wet thick sand in the container and cover it with a newspaper. The turtle will hibernate in the sand and replenish water once a week to keep the sand and the newspaper moist.

If the turtles at home are relatively small and have just been raised, it is better to feed them with warm water so that the turtles can eat normally through the winter.

2. If the tortoise is thin and doesn't eat well in September, if you want the turtle to eat again, you can set the temperature back to 28 ℃, and the turtle will eat again.
