Rainforest scorpion, also known as Peter different scorpion, is a common scorpion in Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and other places. It can be raised as a pet. How to raise rainforest scorpion?

1. Equipment selection

Rainforest scorpions like to climb, so when choosing equipment, it is best to choose a plastic aquarium with a firm lid but ventilation, which is about four times the size of the scorpion.

2. Seed selection

Choose some strong rain forest scorpions and put them in the aquarium.

3. Temperature requirement

Rainforest scorpion requires a high temperature, generally the appropriate temperature in the daytime is about 25-32 degrees, and the temperature is above 20 degrees at night. Blankets can be used to heat up in winter, while in summer in Hong Kong, there is no need for any thermal insulation equipment, as long as the feeding tank is put in a ventilated place. If they live at too low temperature (15 degrees Celsius) for too long, it will not only affect the growth rate, but also cause them to stop eating or even die. When it is cold in winter, the owner must provide them with heat preservation.

4. Humidity requirements

It is best to maintain about 75-85% in the feeding box, and the substrate is sprayed with a sprinkler to keep it moist, but in the feeding box, it is best to provide a slightly dry and warm place for its habitat.

5. Feeding requirements

Rainforest scorpions mainly eat live insects, crickets, barley worms, etc., and adult scorpions can be fed to small reptiles or mice. The food intake of Asian rainforest scorpion is average, it can be fed once or twice a week, and the leftovers should be cleaned up as soon as possible.

Generally speaking, the rainforest scorpion is very easy to raise, as long as choose the aquarium, select the seedlings, control the humidity, temperature and other management work.
