Modern people like to keep pets as companions, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, fish, squirrels, ferrets and so on. Today, the editor is here to introduce how ferrets are raised.

How do you raise ferrets?

1. Ferrets should first prepare cages, fodder, pots, kettles, toilets, cat litter, bedding and other items. Among them, the cage should be large, and the bottom of the grid is a longitudinal grid with a small gap; feed with ferrets; choose basins according to body weight; use ball drinking fountains; square toilets; and choose cat litter products that will not solidify and harden.

two。 Take a bath once a week, clean your ears and cut your nails. Dry it with a deerskin towel immediately after the bath and put it in a quick-drying bag to avoid catching a cold.

3. The gap in the feeding place should be blocked to avoid getting in (such as furniture or clothes and kitchens, basically the same as cats, as long as the head can pass, about 80% of the body can pass), you should pay attention to when entering and leaving the door.

4. Drinking water should be adequate, the food basin should not be empty, and the bedpan should be cleaned every day. In addition, mink cages and hammocks should be cleaned regularly.

5. Ferrets are cold-resistant and not heat-resistant, and are very sensitive to high temperatures. many causes of death are caused by thermal urgency and heat exhaustion, so the temperature of ferrets should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and drinking water should be provided regularly when summer comes. Ferrets lack sweat glands and dissipate heat through their lungs, so pay special attention to indoor air convection and cooling measures. Ferrets must not be exposed to the sun, or sealed in a sultry space.

Ferrets should be vaccinated regularly when raising ferrets, and sterilization and deodorizing glands should be done at an appropriate time.
