1. Feeding tools

Buy a feeding box, prepare some egg receptacles, fold them equally on both sides of the egg receptacle and stack them in an orderly manner. It should be noted here that the feeding box does not have to cover the lid, it will not run out, if you think it will run out, close the lid, and then punch the feeding box and lid.

2. Feeding temperature and humidity

(1) temperature: it is appropriate to raise the temperature at 15-32 degrees, but if the temperature is raised to 29-30 degrees, cockroaches will be more active and reproduce faster.

(2) humidity: humidity as far as possible to maintain 50% to 80%, humidity is too high easy to mildew, disease, humidity is too low is not conducive to desquamation and growth. Generally speaking, humidity does not need to be considered in the south, but it is relatively dry in the north, so it is necessary to increase the humidity of the feeding box appropriately.

3. Lighting requirements

Cherry cockroaches like dark environment, the light is not too bright.

4. Food requirements

Cherry cockroaches have a variety of food habits, you can feed some cat food, dog food, wheat bran, corn meal, bread, fish feed, etc., and feed some carrots, apples, cucumbers, oranges, pears, cantaloupes and bananas every week. Generally, some dry feed can be used for about 2-3 days. As for those with high humidity, such as cucumbers and apples, the amount should be controlled to the extent that they can be eaten the next day to avoid spoilage. The best time to eat is at night.

5. Keep the environment in the box clean

Cherry cockroaches excrete a lot and clean their feces regularly every week to avoid mildew and germs.

6. Reproductive cycle

It can mature after growing for 3-5 months, and its life span is about 2-3 years. There are 20-30 cockroaches per litter, once every 1-2 months.

7. Leave the high quality mother seed.

First of all, you can't buy an obsolete mother, so the obsolete mother is nearing the end of life, because cockroaches don't live long. Secondly, you can't buy the whole man or the whole mother. If you want it to breed cockroaches quickly, I suggest buying Yacheng or breeding group. The disadvantage of the breeding group is that it is more expensive.
