2. Yucatan (Mexican hairless) pig

Some of these piglets are small and some are not small. The larger breeds can grow to more than 180 jin, while the small ones can only average 45-90 jin. Their average height is 40-61 cm.

3. Huliani pig (painted piglet)

The average height is 25-40 cm and the weight is 13.5-45 jin. Like pot-bellied pigs, they are docile and like to play with toys.

4. Ossaba pigs

Second, how to raise pet pigs?

1. Pet pigs are afraid of cold and heat, so pay attention to keeping warm when the temperature is low and cooling when the temperature is high.

The pet pig needs to live in a quiet and dry environment with a temperature of 18-29 degrees Celsius, allowing it to live in a study, living room or balcony.

Remember to make a warm nest for them when winter comes, add some blankets or quilts, and don't let them catch cold or have diarrhea.

2. It is necessary to prepare a dry and quiet living environment for pet pigs, which is beneficial to the growth of pet pigs.

3. Young pet pigs can be fed with milk powder first, and then fed with other foods when they grow up.

Piglets aged 0-4 weeks can be fed with whole milk powder, about 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk powder per meal will be brewed into 100c.c. Milk, and can add 1 tablespoon cream or 1 raw egg yolk to increase nutrition.

Four weeks later, piglets can be fed with dried whole milk powder, about 2 tablespoons of milk powder per meal, and reduce the amount of liquid milk. This action is called "teaching trough". The purpose is to train the gastrointestinal digestion of solid food.

After 6 weeks, you can feed piglets a small amount of solid food or soak in water, and you can also start to try fruits, vegetables and other foods.

Piglets can fully eat solid food after one month, because pigs are omnivorous animals, so the food must contain vegetables, fruits and active proteins, such as chicken, beef, cucumbers, and so on, in order to achieve balanced nutrition and enable piglets to grow healthily.

4. You can interact with pet pigs more often, so that pets are more likely to have relatives.

However, when feeding piglets with new food, piglets may have nutritional diarrhea problems. once owners find that piglets are incomplete and sparse, they need to be sent to hospital as soon as possible.
