1. How do artificially fed lambs survive

At peak lambing season squeeze from milch ewes into mineral water bottles and store in refrigerator. Wash utensils and hands before feeding to prevent lamb diarrhea.

II. Precautions

1. Regular feeding. The artificial suckling lambs should observe the prescribed time, start feeding once every 3 hours, feed 4~6 times a day, with the growth of lambs age, gradually reduce the number of daily feeding, increase the amount of feeding.

2. Quantitative feeding. Feed lambs with proper amount of milk, 200~300ml each time at first, gradually increase with their age, but the daily feeding amount should not exceed 20% of their own weight. Gradually reduce the amount of milk later.

3. Ensure milk quality. Milk fed to lambs should be fresh, clean and stirred during heating and distribution to distribute the cream evenly.

4. Milk temperature is constant. Milk temperature should be maintained at 38℃~40℃, milk temperature is too low easy to cause gastrointestinal diseases, too high will affect lactation, even scalding lamb mouth.
