1. Arrange experienced breeders to take turns to watch the sow in labor day and night, ready to receive labor at any time, and try to avoid irrelevant personnel entering the delivery room.

2. Dry cloth, silk thread, scissors, disinfectant, piglet delivery box and insulation lamp should be prepared before delivery.

3. When disinfecting the delivery personnel, the arms and delivery utensils should be disinfected first.

4. Sows were born mainly in lying mode. If the sow is standing to give birth, touch her abdomen with your hand to make her lie down. After the piglet is born, immediately wipe the mouth, nose and mucus of the whole body with a cloth to make the piglet breathe smoothly. Next, cut the umbilical cord about 3 cm away from the abdomen and disinfect the cut with 2% iodine tincture.

5. When the piglets are born, lift the piglets with both hands, immediately remove the mucus from the mouths and nostrils of the piglets, then dry the mucus on the piglets with hay first, then dry the mucus with a towel, and then cut the umbilical cord.

6. When breaking the umbilical cord, squeeze the blood in the umbilical cord to the abdomen several times, then tear the umbilical cord with both hands at a distance of 4-5 cm from the piglet abdomen (generally without scissors to avoid excessive bleeding), apply 5% iodine tincture to disinfect the broken end, and put the piglet into a hay box for heat preservation.
