Poultry, livestock need to prepare feed, the price of feed purchased is higher, and not necessarily healthy, many people choose self-made feed, then how to make self-made feed into particles?

What kinds of feed are there?

1. Starch feed

These feeds are mainly made up of grains, seeds and roots or tubers that contain large amounts of starch. For example, all kinds of grains, potatoes, wheat, barley, beans and so on. These feeds provide energy mainly through polysaccharides and contain very little protein. Suitable for ruminants, poultry and pigs, but feed with too much starch is not suitable for horses.

2. Sugary feed

These feeds are mainly plant protein feed based on protein mulberry. The plant protein of protein mulberry reaches 28% Mel 36% and is rich in 18 kinds of amino acids. It is the best raw material to replace imported plant protein.

3. Green feed

The whole plant in some feed is fed, such as grass, corn, grain and so on. These feeds contain a lot of carbohydrates, among which the nutrients are very mixed. For example, grass mainly contains carbohydrates and protein 15% to 25%, while corn contains more starch (about 20% Murray 40%) and less than 10% protein. Green feed can be fed fresh or preserved after drying.

Second, how to make self-made feed into pellets?

1. The feed can be evenly mixed and put into the basin, and then put into the cut green fodder, hold the basin and shake clockwise, the feed will be attached to the green feed, thus forming particles.

2. you can also mix the feed with wheat flour, add water, process it with a rolling pin, cut it into the desired shape with a knife, dry it in the sun and feed it.
