Roche shrimp is currently one of the three largest shrimp species in the world, is a large freshwater shrimp, so how long is the culture cycle of Roche shrimp?

1. Basic introduction of Roche shrimp

Roche shrimp is a kind of shrimp of the genus Macrobrachium, also known as Malaysian prawns, money prawns, Penaeus vannamei, white-footed shrimp and so on. It originated from the coast of Ecuador and is currently distributed in tropical areas of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. It mainly lives in freshwater or brackish freshwater waters.

Roche shrimp are cultured in many provinces in southern China, and Anhui, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other provinces are the main producing areas.

Roche shrimp is rich in nutritional value. According to scientific research, the shrimp meat of each hundred Crohn's shrimp contains 20.6 grams of protein and 0.7 grams of fat, as well as a variety of vitamins and trace elements necessary for the human body. it is a high-protein and nutritious aquatic product. Fresh food can cook braised prawns, fried white prawns, shrimp sections, pipa prawns, fried shrimps and so on. Processing can be made into dried shrimp, dried shrimp and other seafood.

Second, the culture cycle of Roche shrimp.

The culture cycle of Roche shrimp is generally 2-4 months, and the culture cycle is also related to culture technology and climate, depending on the actual culture cycle.

3. Matters needing attention in the culture of Roche shrimp

1. It is necessary to change water scientifically, because it is not scientific. In the middle and later stages of culture, the water in the pond is too fertile, which causes the water temperature of the pond to fluctuate too much, which is easy to affect the feeding and growth of shrimp.

2. Do not blindly deepen the water level. The optimum water depth for Macrobrachium rosenbergii culture is 1.5-1.8 meters. If the water body is too shallow, the water temperature fluctuates greatly, the dissolved oxygen content decreases, and it is easy to affect the growth of shrimp; the water body is too deep, the bottom of the pond can not be exposed to sunlight, the number of phytoplankton is small, and the dissolved oxygen produced by photosynthesis is less and less, coupled with the decomposition of organic matter at the bottom of the pond, so that the dissolved oxygen in the lower water is less and less, aggravating the deterioration of the bottom.

3. To choose a suitable aerator, the aerator is suitable for shallow ponds with a water depth of 1.5-2.0 meters, and the other is an "impeller-type" aerator, which is suitable for deep-water ponds with a depth of 2.0-3.0 meters. Many shrimp farmers use the "impeller" aerator. Because the water body of the shrimp pond is shallow, it is easy to stir up the sediment to form mud, which is disadvantageous to shrimp culture.
