Quail has been raised in captivity. Although the wild population is widely distributed, the distribution area is fragmented because its habitat is occupied by human activities. So how to raise quail seedlings?

I. Feed requirements

Quail food is miscellaneous, generally feed some bean cakes, fish meal, corn flour, cabbage, carrots, alfalfa, rice bran, add some multivitamins, antibiotics and trace elements can grow healthily. It is generally recommended to feed four times a day, and to feed regularly and quantitatively.

2. Feeding density

Generally, there are 100 quails per square meter at the age of 1 week, 85 quails per square meter at the age of 2 weeks, 70 quails per square meter at the age of 3 weeks, and 50 quails per square meter at the age of 4 weeks, so as not to cause diseases.

III. Group management

Try to raise male and female quails in separate columns to improve the fertilization rate of breeding eggs. If you choose mixed culture, it is recommended that the ratio of male quail to female quail is 1:3, and the quail left by mating should be treated as meat quail.

IV. Pest control

During the growth of quails, there are many diseases that may be infected, such as white dysentery, coccidiosis, ulcerative enteritis, diphtheria, Marek's disease, colibacillosis, limefoot disease and other diseases, so in the process of feeding, prevention and control measures must be taken. Quails that have been infected should be treated and isolated in time to reduce the occurrence of diseases.

Quails often move in pairs rather than in groups. They often live in plains, wastelands, streams, hills and hills with dense weeds or bushes, and sometimes near arable land.
