Lobster can not only be used as a delicacy, but also can be watched at home. Now many people raise crayfish at home. So how to raise lobster at home? Let's take a look.

1. Container

To raise crayfish, you can use plastic pots, packing boxes, acrylic or glass fish tanks. Be careful that the height of the container is not lower than the crayfish's body length to prevent it from escaping.

2. Environment

If there is a filtration system, it can be arranged to simulate the natural environment, placing roots and bamboo tubes for climbing, and planting hyacinth, verticillium verticillata and other plants for them to avoid, perch and feed, with a water depth of up to 0.5 meters. If there is no filtration system, it is recommended to raise in bare tanks and put a small amount of plants. The water depth should be 3-5 cm and the water quality should be changed in time when the water quality becomes worse.

3. Quantity

Excessive stocking density of crayfish can easily lead to hypoxia, struggle and other phenomena, so the family raises adult crayfish, at most one per square centimeter, at the same time, too many males are also easy to cause struggle, so the best female-to-male ratio is 3:1.

4. Feeding

Crayfish is omnivorous, not only like to eat fresh miscellaneous fish and other animal bait, but also like to eat soybeans, bean cakes, corn, fruits and fresh aquatic plants and other plant bait, family feeding can feed fish, snail meat, shrimp, watermelon, steamed bread and so on. Under the condition of ensuring the quality, the daily feeding amount should be fully eaten, eaten, and no residual bait should be left. The water temperature from July to October is suitable, which is the growing season of shrimp, twice a day, once in the morning and evening. Feed once a day for the rest of the season. Because crayfish mainly eat at night, the amount of crayfish fed at night accounts for 70% and 80% of the daily feed. Cast more when the weather is fine, but less when the weather is hot and muggy, continuous cloudy and rainy days or when the water quality is too strong; cast less when a large number of shrimps molt and more after molting.

Crayfish breeding at home is relatively simple, that is, we should pay attention to the density of breeding, timely change of water, the growth rate is still relatively fast.
