Wild Anyuan generally grows in high-altitude mountain areas and often has to climb, so it is generally stronger. Now more and more people see the market value of Anyuan turtles and begin to raise Anyuan turtles, so how to raise Anyuan turtles?

1. Breeding grounds

In terms of breeding area, a group of turtles need to cover an area of at least one square meter, including a sand pool with an area of 0.3 to 0.7 square meters and a sand depth of 18 to 20 centimeters for laying eggs and hibernating for Anyuan turtles, and a pool of about 0.2 to 0.6 square meters with a maximum depth of 13 to 15 centimeters.

II. Environment

Keeping an Yuan Yuan turtle should try to avoid too noisy places, and it is recommended to choose a relatively quiet place, because an Yuan turtle is easily frightened by the trembling sound transmitted by the ground. For the location of turtle breeding, places with good ventilation, good light, no air pollution and low noise should be selected.

III. Food

In the long-term evolution, Anyuan turtles mainly feed on insects, such as earthworms, centipedes, small worms and so on. The main food raised are bread worms, earthworms, river shrimp, locusts, pupae, centipedes, beef and chicken. Steamed red carrots, steamed pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, apples, grapes, kiwifruit, peaches and other jam fruits.

The period from the Beginning of Winter every year to the sting of the following year is the hibernating period of Anyuan turtles. When the temperature is 19 ℃, the turtle begins to stop eating; when the temperature drops to about 10 ℃, the tortoise goes into hibernation. When hibernating, they like to hide in caves, piles of branches or under the thicker layer of withered grass, and most of them are in the sun and leeward. When the temperature is 13 ℃, the turtle will wake up, but will not eat.
