1, honey season: in the breeding bee, honey time is very important, if the time is not appropriate, it is easy to steal bees, bee colony escape and other phenomena. If there are rape flower fields around, then we can determine the honey season according to the growth of rape flowers. Generally in the rape flower flowering period to mid-autumn festival time can be taken honey. At the middle stage of rape flower, the reproduction rate of Chinese wasp reached its peak, and a large number of eggs and spleen appeared. The amount of pollen will also increase, but the amount of honey is not a lot, so the yield is relatively small. And this time is also in the bee's division period, honey production is highest around three weeks after the last division.

2, take honey time: we take honey, not in rainy weather, in addition, we have to determine the honey time according to the temperature of the weather. If the temperature is warm, it should be done every evening, because in the evening, bees are not very present, and most workers return to the nest. After honey extraction, there will be enough worker bees and time to repair the damaged spleen. If the temperature is low, then it should be carried out in the early middle of the day. The temperature at this time is relatively high in one day. The spleen is not easy to be frozen. If it is winter, there should be sufficient spleen to ensure that bees winter. It is best not to take honey.

Second, how to get honey?

Most of the methods of honey cutting in soil cultivation are similar. The previous work is to gently tap the hive or bee barrel with the handle of the honey cutter to make the bees absorb some uncapped honey in shock and reduce their aggression to people. Then open the beehive cover, pry open the unopened beehive with a scraper, turn the vertical beehive barrel, spray smoke to the spleen of the nest to be taken with a smoke sprayer, drive the bees away from the spleen, expose the spleen of the nest to be cut honey, and then adopt different honey cutting methods according to different feeding methods.

1. If it is a box-type or horizontal beehive, use a honey knife to slowly cut off one spleen and one spleen of the nest. First cut off the old spleen, then cut off the new spleen, first cut off the nest spleen with less spleen, and finally consider cutting off the nest spleen with more spleen. After cutting off, cut off the honey spleen, powder spleen and spleen and store them separately. Try not to mix them together. The amount of spleen removed shall not exceed two thirds.

2. If it is a bee bucket, put the bee bucket perpendicular to the ground according to the direction of the nest spleen, and pad a wooden block at the bottom to make the honey side lower than the other end. Take a clean basin and put it at the top of the bucket to receive honey. Nests honey can be used to cut honey knife along the bee path, carefully remove the entire nest spleen. To liquid honey, you can dig a little bit with a spoon, digging while watching, digging to have pollen out stop. At least one-third of the nest spleen should also be reserved for bee life needs to avoid flight phenomenon.

3. If it is a lattice box, it is very simple to take honey. Honey, powder and spleen are all distinguished. You only need to cut off the honey spleen with a honey knife to separate honey. After separation, if nest honey is needed, cut it according to demand. If liquid honey is needed, cut the cover opening to let honey flow out naturally.

When honey is taken, it is the most likely to occur the phenomenon of bee theft, so we must pay attention to prevent the occurrence of bee theft. If there are stolen bees, then it should be carried out indoors. After shaking off the bee colony, the beehive and the beehive containing honey spleen should be covered to avoid the loss of stolen bees. Take honey time should not be too long, in the middle bee honey flow period before the middle of the time can be appropriate for many times to take honey work. At the end of the period, reduce the amount of honey or do not take it, so as to avoid bee starvation due to insufficient honey after the end of the honey flow period.
